Is there a way to change the ange that I view inside the battle map? This does not include panning up and down. I might want to be at a certain height and then change an angle for viewing the sky or viewing the ground or whatever angle I want. I remember in MTW this was something that I could do. I tried enabling the free look, but that doesn't do anything with angles.
-Thanks for any help.
Yep. the keyboard command is "+" and "-" on the numeric keypad. + angles the camera up, and - angles it down.

Thank you, but that doesne't do it. The + and - on the keypad doesn't do that, it just moves the battlemap forward or backwards. Any suggestions, I am pretty sure that my key commands are setup correctly.
Grrr... it doesn't work because I'm an idiot! :embarassed: It's not "+" and "-" on the numeric keypad, it's "*" and "/". Very sorry!!
Wait, that last one is for camera height! Not being able to edit my posts really exposes me for the airhead I truely am. :embarassed: "+" and "-" on the numeric keypad, that is, the seperate set of numbers and symbols over on the right hand side of your keboard (not the number row across the top) are the keys that control the angle of the camera. Really. I swear!

I have tried that, to use the plus or minus on the row across the top it requires you to press the shift key which then creates some little red symbol in a bunch of places...

But for camera angle I am talking about the numeric keypad located on the right hand side of your keyboard, the seperate set of keys that has Num Lock in the top left hand corner. Most of the camera controls are over there...
Directly to the right of the Num Lock key is the "/" key (which lowers the camera), to the right of that is "*" (which raises the camera, as if on a crane), and the last key in that row is the "-" (which tilts the camera angle to the ground). Right below that key is the oversized "+" key (which tilts the camera to the sky). In the same location, 4 pans the camera left, 6 pans the camera right, 5 moves the camera forward, 2 moves it backwards. 1 and 3 strafe left and right respectively, and 8 toogles the speed at which the camera moves.

Hi Crazy Breton
Start the game and go to - Options - Camera settings.
Tick.....Restricted Camera
Untick..Real Time Strategy Camera
Untick.. General Camera
This will give you the camera movements as in MTW
Good Luck
