Need help with the Marios reform

Hi all members ,
I am new to the org .. So , don't anger from my stuped questions pl.
I am playing RTW v1.0 and I can't download the pach 1.2 because I am using deal-up conections. However , I wish if there is a way to apply the marios reform in v1.0 ( I believe it is simple modding . otherwise, tell me not ) and about the units avaliable before and after the reforms in my game is
before from townwach to trirrari and urban chourt(?) . I believe that urban chourt couldn't be avaliable before the reforms . So , how can I mod these units to be after the reforms .

go to Rome - Total War/Data/export_descr_buildings.txt

In this file, search for "building barracks"

scrolling down through the barracks entry, the first roman unit that changes at the reforms in hastati, they have this line:

recruit "roman hastati" 0 requires factions { roman, } and not marian_reforms

change it to:

recruit "roman hastati" 0 requires factions { roman, }

Repeat this for each entry of each unit that you want to make available. Basically, you are just removing the part that says they can't be built after the Marian Reforms.

sorry for beeing unclear about my post ..
What I want is sending a list for all the roman units before and after The Reforms and how to make a unit available bofore/after The Reforms .
Finally , is there a way to make the general's bodyguards get there upgrade in RTW v1.0 .
