You know, the insane drunken wastrel with as many bad ancillaries as possible.

Sweet, I've got just the guy locked away in a fort in Illyria. He's a wee bit paranoid, but I'm sure if you're all nice to him he'll come out and say hello. I don't have any true wackos yet, just annoying. A couple of them I don't let set one foot in a town because it'll start rioting.
One's a extreme paranoiac who does work during gladitorial games and he's never leaving border patrol. And the other is a minion catamite who's extremely miserly and in poor health. His only turn as govenor of Arriminum, he jacked up the squalor rating on my huge city so much it rioted.
I'm also very unluck that most of my generals are some combination of adulterer, minion, and catamite. I'm actually amazed I get so many family members because of this.

I wish I saved my crap generals but I usually send them on suicide missions if they do more harm than good. I'll save some for this competition.

If bad luck happens where-ever he goes, why not send him to stand in an enemy territory?

He had the sort of bad luck that would help the enemy he had traits like that idiot one and something to do with bad commanding and as for his retinue pet idiot, drunken uncle you name it he had it.

Ok, raincloud over his head? That'd be a cool trait. Pretty realistic because you get those unlucky guys in history, somewhere...

Not quite but he did once cause a storm in a fllet he was on. They were even before his high days of bad luck lol

I've had a general who was absolutely awful. He was aboslutely terrible at management because every town i tried to put him in suddenly exploded into a crowd of angry peasants, he was insane (he had that cool 'moon people' trait) and basically the worst general i've ever had. I sent him to the steppes, put him in an empty fort, and he stayed there until his miserable lonely death.

I've stopped bribing every general I see, since I paid for a maniac gaul. If you spy on rival family members a lot of the barbarians have messed up traits. Must be the taverns, eh?

Most likely.
I think this forum is for pics more than discussion. Unfortunately, my screenshots always mess up so I can't post a pic yet.
So who's going to post the first entry into the worst general competition??

Sorry, no pics. Must say It really isn't too bad with govenors/generals in RTW. How bad they may be, you can allways turn a bad guv into a good general or a bad general into a good general and, well, with a lot of academies into a good guv. :dizzy2: ~D
Well anyhow, I had this really crappy bloodline when I played the Germans, ehh, mean HRE, in MTW. Those guys were either loving young boys more than women or they were loving the other one's wife more than their own.. I'll tell you, EVERY royal I got was either a pervert or an aldulterer (perhaps common practice in both those and these days?). Even most of the good generals (the ones that I used to make good generals of) devloped one of these traits.. HRE, pfwah!

The Gaul I bribed for $50,000+ who caught the plague and died three turns later.
Other than that, there was corrupt unhinged loon with doubtful courage who was also bloodthirsty. His name was something like "Brutus the Mad." His only good traits came from his retainers, not from him.
I gave all his retainers away to people who deserved them more. Later, he caught the plague but wouldn't die.
So I gave him a few mercenaries and sent him to kill bandits. Lo and behold, he wins a couple of battles and becomes "Brutus the Lucky." He leveled out and became a decent governor for a small, very loyal town.

My diplomat had the plague. I bribed a Scipii general and he caught the plague. So, I sent him against his own army.
25 Generals Bodyguard vs 1480 hardened legionairres. He didn't have a clue. Shouldn't have lost that battle.. ~;)

Meh, I collect the crazies and send them back to fill the petting zoos of Rome. They amuse small children and write plays in their spare time.

Ya, I usually just let them pile up in my capital for a while until I just have way too many and then I send them on a 'family hunting expidition.' These family trips usualy entail them all going out with two units of my good troops, hiring a few mercs, and pilliaging whatever they come across.
They are very fun because I just bash down the walls, and send in my massed family members to just steamroll everyone inside. If one or two die, who cares, it's not like they were useful anyways...
Anyways, once I take the city I exterminate and destroy everything and move on to the next...

If you get lucky, you can enter them in the 100 meter Giant Flaming Onager Rock Dash at Olympia.

My worst general actually was in an army during a siege, and my forces were lead by a CAPTAIN despite the fact that he was there.

So you want some drunken, obese, homo, peadophile, adulterating, lunatic losers à la MTW? I think I can arrange that.
