View Full Version : Siege weapon construction time to 0?

Hi all,

I've been wondering. If the siege weapon construction times would be set to 0 then would the AI attack settlements as soon as they reach them? Can they be set to 0? Could this be done for the AI factions only?

That might be able to lessen the effects of the loadgame bug.

I asked this question earlier and one of the modders said it wasn't possible.

Hi screwtype,

I remember seeing your post but couldn't find the reply from the modder. That's why I reposted this.

Seems odd that the buildtime can't be affected when just about everything else can be modded.

Yup, I had this brainwave too last week, but as kekvitrae and others pointed out, even if possible it would still only reduce the seige to 2 turns. One to build (even at 0 points) and one to assault.

If you remove the walls the AI will attack on the same turn that it lays siege. You can leave the walls on the large cities.
