Hi TheWingedVictory. Up in the left corner near the nav bar is a link called USER CP, which stands for User Control Panel. All the panels for customizing your presence on the board can be found here.
The parameter to which you are referring is called "Custom User Title," and can be changed by clicking on the EDIT USER PROFILE option in your USER CP.
Hope this helps.
EDIT: Sorry I spelled your name wrong originally. It was late and I was very tired.

Alternatively, click "Quick links" and scroll down to Edit Profile, and click that. Then look down to where it says Change user title and put in what ever you want there.
Hope I helped ~D

Maybe junior members can't change their user titles? I tihnk that's it. I remember changing mine when I became a member.

this is weird, when I was here longtime ago, I had another username that I now forgot. At that time, with only about 7 posts I became a member, not a junior. Who is controlling this member stuff?

Promotion isn't based on postcount.
I think this should be moved to the Watchtower.

Junior Members are not currently allowed to change their Custom User Title (the text under your username).
Members can do so by going to their UserCP and editing their profile. Or you could click this link: https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/profile.php?do=editprofile
On the subject of promotion to Member, this is from the The Guide FAQ (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=45416) in the Entrance Hall:
Promotion to Member
Promotion to Member is based on participation, conduct and contributions in your posts. Quantity of posts doesn't matter - you could be promoted on the basis of one amazing post, although just showing the ability to interact with the membership in a helpful and polite manner is easily sufficient. In other words, you don't need to do something special, just enjoy yourself whilst following the Forum Rules above. Although introducing yourself (if you have not already done so) in the HAIL New Members! (Introductions) (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=39010) thread doesn't hurt. ~:)
Promotions are handled manually by the Guild Staff, and are generally done en masse. So as a very quick rule of thumb: if you've been here for a few weeks and been posting reasonably regularly during that time, you should be promoted to Member.
In any case, the staff will always try to help you if they can. If you feel perhaps that you've been mistakenly overlooked (as does happen on occasion), your best bet is to PM KukriKhan (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/private.php?do=newpm&u=4149) and explain your situation.

I know, that's what they told me but I think tibilicus has contributed to the org. He has made some threads and raised some good points in the forums I've seen him in.
