3ds Max 7:
(1) I can get the models open fine.
(2) I can't get the textures to load.
For instance:
(a) Trying to open: "barb_headhunting_maiden_high.CAS" with the texture.
(b) The texture file was: "barb_headhunting_maiden_scythia.TGA.DDS"
(c) The model file was in: "c:\program files\activision\rome - total war\data\models_unit".
(d) The texture file was in: "c:\program files\activision\rome - total war\data\packs\data\models_unit\textures".
Settings:
(i) I tried "set the textures folder path" to...
..."c:\program files\activision\rome - total war\data\packs\data\models_unit\textures",
and when that didn't work I tried...
..."c:\program files\activision\rome - total war\data\models_unit\textures".
(ii) I tried with "force textures path" on, and "force textures path" off.
(iii) I tried with "load all" and "ignore all".
=================================================
And so...I just can't think of anything else to try. But obviously I'm just missing something, since other people can get textures open. ~:confused:
I'm pulling out what little hair I have. :help:
Is there some setting I neglected to set? Or some stupid mistake I'm making?
