Keep your lands happy, try to not loose too many battles and keep your king's influence high by crusading a lot.
Also, using your princesses and titles to keep your generals loyal is a good way as well as keeping your king near the center of the kingdom.

Learn how to play the game and you can pretty much eliminate civil wars without modding. If you are running at least version 1.1 then turn 'autotax' on and it will do it's best to keep loyalty above 120%. That is the magic number. If you can keep your provinces above 120% loyalty you will never have a civil war or a re-emergence.

i know how to play the game, it's just that my lands are always over 100% in loyalty, and once I loose ONE battle, a civil war happens, oh well thx for the advice (i didnt that crusades increase influence thx for that)

I just keep a large army ready to be shipped in via my ever present navy. The rebels dont't last long, if they last more than a year and the provinces are a bit more loyal after my huge army takes a small camping trip in their backyard.

Keep your princes with -4 loyalty in your king's stack.
