I have seen major forces readying up for campaigning.... Our Khan is interested in Tera's response about this. If its true than he might face a big encirclement. If it is true than Clan Kenchis response is appreciated as well.

The Khans private forum is clean and tidy. The wolves only forum looks messy tho.

I've been in the community for more than 2 years, I joined Kenchi in 2000 and then NoFear/Aku ...which I was the leader for most of the time...and I gave and had fun to others around me...then I became mainpage admin of the Org which in my opinion continued to be the best fansite for Org.

I play all the time, my free time is dedicated mostly to this game and I feel fullfilled and satisfied with my work in the community. I've been thanked and acknowledged by many during this years and this is the first time I face such...things.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I've seen this and that some people are questioning my integrity SO blatantly.

I always had the trust of people, I am sorry if I did mistakes sometime or another ...but I think I've earned the trust of most of you and I wish to continue to have it, you may see evidence and stuff as you all know but it's up to you to decide where to stand anyway...I am very sad of hearing such things against me, I never got paid for being here but well, here is it now. I'm convinced that who is good and not-evil won't die, I am too sad to be angry anyway...I just hope the good I did won't be forgotten, but I will dedicate this night to prayer.

Monsta has known about this issue for some time now.

Nothing was said in public because Monsta felt that hard evidence was needed....after all the claim that an admin at the Org has been looking up the pass words of the members is not to be taken without proper background research.

The issue that bothers me most is the fact that Monsta cares little if somebody was to read in Rage Members forum (entering without invitation that is) that **** said they would love to chop the head off ****.

The thing that would bother me is how often our members talk about private real life issues....we talk as friends...we offer support and advice....this WILL NEVER BE SHARED...

now if the person in question was to have tried to enter Rage private forum...by whatever means....they should realise that once they enter into our real life issues then the problem becomes real life.

If for example it is true that a person was using/abusing their position and trying to enter into our world......a place where my lads trust they say what they wish without unwanted eyes looking in...then this is too much...advice would be simple...dont ever come to one of the 'meetings'....if you take the GAME into the real world....then we shall 'play' in the real world.

I have seen the evidence....it seems that there is a picture of the Wolf forum...it says 'members only' or something on it...Magyar or the other Wolves can confirm this if they want....it does not mean it is the certain person who made this picture.

The removal of the original post is valid....but the evidence i have seen which includes chat logs from MSN (which could also be fake) picture of the Wolves forum (private or not?)......the fact that Magyar may well have used a pass word more than once...hmmm

So if it is not the person named in the original post then it could well be another member of the Org?....or could the original posting person have made all this up?

Monsta knows that admid have access to the Org members pass words...he also thinks like himself that many of us repeat our pass words....so who is to blame?

Maybe this will be deleted..but until somebody gives out a worthy defence then it will be posted again..then maybe Monsta will be banned from the Org....then he posts in other forums...and on and on...NEVER F*CK WITH MY PEOPLE....I have been told many things that wont be posted here....and f*ck knows how I dont say more....

I saw the original post last night....is there any truth in these allegations? If so can they be proved/disproved? Its easy to make allegations and besmirch someones reputation. I think its important to investigate these issues thoroughly before making any rash conclusions. That leads me to my next question...is anyone following this up? If it were me being accused I would try to garner as much evidence as possible in my defence. As an old boss of mine used to say "silence is compliance". Lets hope everything works out for the best.

I know that on that certain screenshot the login name is the name of my Khan. So someone does have/use his loginname. Ofcourse it would be better to have several different loginnames, but it seems that from the beginning of the org he used the same.

Look man, I am shocked that these accusations have been made, I don't really know the reasons why of this and while I understand that someone really hacked into Magyar's account, altough I haven't seen this supposedly 'evidence' yet that someone is so blatantly presenting...I couldn't believe that someone could actually believe this bullcrap and the denial is quite obvious. His reputation is already compromised so he isn't losing anything.

It would be interesting to have an answer to why the original post was deleted although Monsta understands that naming names is not legal here...

the original post is present at the 'sinners' forum (rage forum) therefore the law of the Org is not broken....

From what Monsta has learnt about this case it seems there is alot of evidence against T***...but nothing solid.

Lets look at the facts shall we...

Tinky tells Monsta that somebody has offered him the password for the Wolves forum in exchange for the pass of the Rage forum....or indeed if Tinky can gain this pass word.

Monsta thinks...blimey...who and how could have gotten this...anyway after some probing Tinky tells Monsta that T*** made this offer.

Instantly Monsta thinks 'Tinky is full of shit'.....and decides to try and find out more...partially in defence of Monsta's comrade Magyar...in defence of the Rage forum and (beleive it or not) to stop T*** getting hurt without reason.

Monsta asks Tinky how would T*** do this...Tinky replies that T*** can gain access to all the Org members pass words and said T*** claimed "he could not believe how stupid Magy was for using the same pass at the Org as the Wolves private forum".

Monsta is still not sure.....so Monsta mails Tosa and asks if the Admin can gain access to the pass words....Tosa said they can (he also told me he was trying to find a way to either stop this or use a forum where they could not).

Monsta talks to Magyar and asks about pass words (without giving to much away) and finds that Magyar had indeed use the pass twice.

So Monsta finds 2 issues alarming

1) Org admin can access the pass words
2) Magyar used his pass word here and at the Wolves site.

But this was still hear say....Monsta could not beleive T*** had done this yet..even though it all added up...solid proof was needed.

Tinky sent Monsta a log file of a chat that he and T*** had supposed to have had....but still this was not enough.

Final straw that broke the back for me was the last bit of evidence...the page pic...it has the person logged in as Magyar...it is the private site of the Wolves.

So lets look again at the evidence-

1)Log file chat
2)Admin access
3)Magyar using the pass word twice
4)The picture of the wolves forum

If not T*** then who?...must be a member of the Org admin....unless Magyar or another member of his clan has been sending screen shots to Tinky?

Tinky may have access...but why would he tell anybody? why not just enjoy his secret access....and how would Tinky gain access to the site if he is not either a member of the Wolves....he has not been told by a Wolf the pass...neither is he or has he ever been an Org admin.

Monsta mailed T*** before deciding to write this and offered to work out what has happened and find out the truth if he is not guilty....twice...first I warned him then I offered help...he has ignored me both times.

I give no respect to anybody who has no respect for others...I dont care if T*** has run a marathon for TW..shaved off his eye brows....unless there is something solid to say how and why a person has gotten into a PRIVATE forum...Monsta must say this all stinks.

Sorry T***...if the evidence comes forward to say you are indeed not guilty of this I will offer a Monsta sorry...but sadly it looks the other way to me....a sad loss indeed.....a loss of trust.

obviously you can all understand that this is a great shock to me, and it is very disapointing that a fellow clanm8 has been targeted by such unhonorable acusations.
it is apparent that someone somehow has obviously found a way to retreive magys password for his ez board account, this is bad news to the community as a whole.

The mystery is that how this password was found, tinky has stepped forward and put tera into the defendents shoes, to me he is an obvious suspect. Tinky was right, if it is true that the admin of this site
can access all patrons passwords, then it was within keiths power to access magyarkhans ez board account. n.b. there are also many other admins past and present that know this user name and pass to the org that could just as easily found magyarkhans password for themselves.
I ask how often is this password changed?
how many ppl know this?
how many ppl have they told?
Most importantly of all is that can we really assume that MagyarKhans password was even taken from the org? Is MagyarKhans ez board password even the same as his org account?

When i first saw this i was in disbeleif would keith really do this? and even more so would he do it without me knowing? i have not been made aware of these logs but as the honorable Monsta claimed these logs can be faked?

To me reliable evidence within this matter is very hard to come across, it is very easy to fake, there are so many ways to alter images and logs that this is nearly impossible to tell if it is a hokes.
Sadly this ease of accessible tools to make evidence also makes it very hard to discredit evidence which in keith case does not help.

If we take a step back and look at this picture then surely we can all come to the conclusion that the only thing we are sure about here is the crime, the fact that someone has accessed magys ez board
account. this leads me to the conclusion that yes we are an online community but there are certain individuals that i trust as im sure you have aswell and keith was one of them. I can only take in what ppl are saying here and to me it looks like Tinky has a personal grudge to avenge keith for some reason between themselves? or saying that in the past i dont think that tinky has even needed a motive?

i am also disapointed in monsta who is acting, in his last post and emails, more like an inquisitor than a genuinely concerded member of this community? we need to sort this out not accuse! i see that monsta claims a deal with himself and tinky seems a little cosy to me since keith and monsta have never really seen eye to eye http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/tongue.gif

Btw this brings back unpleasant feelings about the honour society in the past. Surely magy also remembers the issues which arose back then. We had to defend ourselves when there wasn't even faked evidence (not implieing anything about the 'evidence' raised here). Although I'd like to say more about that issue here that will lead away from this (pointless?) discussion. I think it's a bit sad there is a need to discuss these issues in public when there isn't any unquestionable evidence. So either present that evidence or... (feel free to fill that in urselves)

Monsta has been aware of this issue for about a month....i hold no grudge towards Keith...wish i could say the same for his feelings towards me.

All i can see is evidence against...all that has come back is 'but he is such a nice fella'.....my reasons for anger were out lined above.

Tinky was offering the evidence to anybody who wished to see it in the original post...but this was deleted...you can get Tinks e-mail address if you wish to see the evidence yourself from the Rage Forum.

If this was a court of law...the man is not guilty until proven so...the prosecution has offered its evidence...the jury now waits for the defence to say more than just 'it wasnt me'...because like Monsta said before..if it wasnt Tera then who was it?

Barry your efforts to turn this into a Monsta/Tinky attack on Tera are nice..but sadly this theory has less strength than your clan m8s defence...which at the moment is ....'but how could it be'.

If you do intrude in those "secret" forums you have your coming out as a real fool ( wow and i thought i was the only one...) although i can of course understand the urge to read all the HUGE important secrecies written in private forums concerning Totalwar....and certainly even more so (beware: Irony!)if some posts there are about "real" privacies concerning "real life"!

I know that I am a friend and ally of tinksta. But I have been kept informed of this saga. Tera has even offered me access to the wolves forum in return for some classified information on the angel clan. Tera has boasted how he is an upstanding member of the community and how this would be enough to convince the public eye he is innocent. I was no way involved in this, but was being kept informed of some developments to prove tera isn't the saint some believe him to be, quite the opposite in fact. I actually didn't know that this action had already been carried out until I stumbled upon this topic.

Magyar think about it! you use same psw from the org on your ez board name. Tera has access to everyone's org password who else could it be?

If people knew me as the nice guy I am or had spoken to me and then acused me of something like that, I would feel extremely hurt by the comments.

As far as I can see he is been acused of this hacking simply because he has the power to do so. If someone came up to me and acused me of something similar simply because I have the power to do so, I would be hurt by the comments, people who know me would be able to figure out that I simply didn't do it because I'm a nice person, and I'm sure Tera isn't pulling a Hitler and been nice for a propoganda purpose to cover up darker dealings.

Everytime I go online Tera always says hi to me, infact he is the only person who does so other than other Seljuk members, I am extremely pleased that Tera has the curtoesy to remember who I am and say hello to me when I am online, other people who I aren't saying aren't nice don't do this, maybe it's because they don't come here or maybe it's simply because they don't wish to speak to me, but Tera always does and I thank him for it.

Tera's welcoming attitude towards me is evidence enough for me that he innocent, and he's a nice guy should be perfect evidence for you, many of you know him personally or have known him for much longer than I and you all say he is a nice guy, why do you still continue to persue acusing him?

altho not of any value here, but an horde of GWIS trackers left teh Wolves ordu. we arent expert in hackers but we are master trackers...

luckily the wolves forum have nothing to hide, the most dirty posts are handled in the Khans ger and the ger (mongol tent) is cleaned every 2 days by the Khans principal wife, neat and tidy as she is...

If there is one person here that should know who has the good intentions and who has the worst intentions is you Monsta. I had no grudge against you, I just hold the right that I don't like you too much. I never did anything bad to you and the HABA was something close to a peace treaty and we've been on better terms ever since. But here it goes now, an accusation, a frame-up, a sin, call it whatever you want comes up magically and the honourable Monsta jumps in as Jessica Fletcher to solve the mysterious case, obviously in favour of the scouser and against the everlasting perpetual enemy. I am dissapointed by your behaviour, you're picturing this thing as a trial, who is guilty will be given the death penalty. I just read your emails now, as usual, you're trying to help. Nice help really. You believe whatever your nice Tinky tells you as if he is a choir boy who never lied or decepted anyone but obviously everything is good to stain my reputation which I worked hard for years to build. You don't care how much I worked and sacrificed my time don't you? You only see what you want to see, that is anything that will throw a bad shadow on me. But I don't want this to be a personal battle between us, hopefully people will understand who is guided by common sense and who is directed by the obsession of becoming a national hero. You're clearly in an "alliance" with the accusator to make my position even worse, which I feel is very unjust.

I feel fullfilled of my work in this community. I've joined one of the top clans and succeeded in becoming a regular member of it...Dan-sama trusted me with one of the biggest responsabilities in the community - be the administrator of the top site in the Total War world. I feel satisfied of my work, I've maintained The Org as the prime site and introduced new features such as the poll and the regular featured site. I've participated in the forums regularly and gave my contribution to the community, I was thanks to Ed appointed as beta tester, another big responsability. I've always been friendly to people, I made a life in here and made people happy, too much to be forgotten. Above all for the first time in my life I felt that I fullfilled what was asked from me and I feel proud of that.

And no my dear fellows, I won't give up. This frame-up and terrible show of how much people can have bad intentions won't be what Monsta is trying to imply, I won't hang up my boots, I will prove to the community who is guilty and who is not by indisputable facts - I will improve and continue what I've been doing for the past years - doing good for this community. Most of you here have shown me their appreciation for what I've done, I thank you for the support, and I will never betray your trust as the least trustworthy person (ironic isn't it.) is trying to so blatantly imply. In the meantime you can double check / change your passwords and make sure Tinky's comedies don't turn into tragedies as some who know who they are wanted them to turn.
There are many great things prepared for the future, my fellow colleagues can fill in, and they need me, and I will be there as usual, and it will be successful. Unless the majority doesn't want that.

It does look like a trial when you read all of the postings but in my opinion it's nothing more than a attempt to discredit keith's good reputation. I am not saying this because he is in my clan, but from my distant point of view (not knowing either of you that well) it looks like an act of jealousy on tinky's/monsta's side.

When I have read Tera's posts on the org, I have noticed that (like myself) he makes an effort to use capital letters and correct punctuation.

The log you have shows two people both using exactly the same style of speaking and grammatical mistakes.

This is NOT to say that I think it is faked...my brain jury is still out on that one. However, this does not seem like the Tera I have seen and agreed with on many occasions.

If it is true, it is damning evidence. However, a log like that is the easiest thing in the world to fake.

My point is that the issue of Grey Wolf 'secrets' has not arisen during any clan communications - not on our website or in any MSN chats (I don't keep logs http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/wink.gif). If Tera had been up to naughties I think we would have known about it and taken appropriate action.

lol, almost, but not quite. First off, why would Tera take a screenshot and send it to Tink? What possible benefit would he gain? A lot less than someone who didn't necessarily need the info in the posts, but would gain more from an accusation. Second:

Just in case the pic gets *changed* I have saved it as 'tera accusation' at precisely 4:45 AM, 10/11/02, on my computer, something that can be easily proven, and hardly changed unless severly hacked (IE itself). Right click the image Tink supposedly couldn't put on his site, yet linked to here. Use the link to check the pic. The mouse-over, or whatever you want to call it in the pic, is MISSING the whole "Microsoft Internet Explorer" part after the sites address, which appears in ALL versions of windows. Not to mention the fact that the beginning part of the mouseover is completely wrong for the Wolves forums THEMSELVES, go there and see proof yourself, I have. This is not to say that the whole screenshot is doctrined, as it is probably real, but there might be parts that are false. Not to say that Tera is a saint, because I have no clue (no one here but him knows for SURE). However, take the words of those who have admittedly hacked sites the 'old way' for what they are, HACKING. Reguardless of whether Tera used knowledge he was privy to, to gain access to something he should not be, there still is one among us (and probably MANY) that have admittedly used more subversive tactics to gain knowledge.

Not to mention the things I was thinking while reading this thread that Inferno already said, about the way Tera typed in his messages, as compared to how he normally types. This is not a sign of a misaccusation, but rather an interesting point to bring up.

Why was Monsta brought into this? Does Rage have some secret beef against the Wolves that would prompt them into trying to get pw's to their site? in my unknowing opinnion...probably not.

Who gives a Sh*t whether someone else reads a post on 'Good unit for a GEN?' ? Probably not the wolves, as I have seen them use their opponents army and beat them with it (and have offered to do so on many more occasions).

The fact of the matter is as Monsta states it, its more than just a forum, and more than the game. However, given the circumstances, I dunno of anyone who could give better advice than to simply not have pw's the same (as I have taken care of in the past).

I am sorry that Magyar has to deal with this, but I will not speak for him in any way, and am not qualified to do so. Maybe his nature in dealing with this situation was taken into consideration before it all transpired?? Whatever the motive, someone may gain from the rise of his (magy's) blood pressure, whether it be material, or just a sick sense of personal satisfaction.

Anyways, I've spent far too much time on this. Tera is valued for what he's done for Total War, definitely a pillar of the community. Tink, even if you are the mastermind of situations similar to this, a part of all of us has to crookedly smile at it, and just hope that it doesn't happen to us.

In the end, who will look at their keyboard, see the soldered circuits, and put this all into perspective? I agree, its DEFINITELY not an easy thing to do....not an official statement. Just my thoughts : /

well well.... how interesting.... let me be frank... i dont really like or dislike tera... fearfulways was actually at war with one of his old clans "nofear" a while back... let me be clear ... tera is no saint.... he is capable of the acts he has been accused of... i simply dont buy the "he could never do it" theory... i know too much....this does not mean he did it though.... the chat logs are faked... there are some things in it which i wont mention here that make them 100% fake. and anyone in the know will see the flaws... the screenshot is of the wolves private forum... and someone does have the pw... but this is not a new thing... clans have been getting into each others forums since shogun... our clan forum has been invaded twice... once by the wolves and once by an unknown... during the clan campaigns there was a lot of spies around and many clans lost their privacy... ive seen almost every clans inner forums at one time or another.... the fact is that the pw could have come from other sources besides the org passwords... let us not hang tera based upon the fact that the org was the only place to get the pw... its simply not true.... and i also feel i must remind everyone what the angels of darkness are about... it is in their charter to be a "bad clan" ... reguardless.... tera should not stand down.... the facts arent that strong and he is a valuable member of our community.... i for one will give him the benifit of the doubt...this time... im sure if there are more cases like this in the future we as a community will take action.... but for now... i ask everyone to plz relax... its very doubtful that tera did this...

This is a very sad thread. I am not the expert fot internet stuff to understand, whether posted "evidences" are true or just a fake. But what I know is this: It is very very easy to missuse passwords and to "hack" password protected areas. I personally had my lessons as Totalwar Gamemaster for the Campaign. The Gamemaster´s ezboard nick was used by more than one person. Magy for example used the GM nick sometimes to log in to Grey Wolves pages as Krast did with the GM nick to go in Rage forum, also Cannon was in forums of the Fearful Clan, a small list of the last visited sites in the ezboard account administration showed this fact to me. Therefore I was able to go in Wolves Forum as well as Magy could have do this with Rage Forums or even ELITE. I believe every GM was aware about the fact, that if he goes with the GM nick to a private forum any GM was ablte to follow him. As long as we didn´t discussed really top secreted issues in our forums, this fact didn´t disturbed me. Cause I knew we just play a game! The Clan stuff is part of the game! I simply trusted all GM´s that they will not abuse there possibilities, like you trust in poker, that other players don´t look into your cards. And if they do, you don´t pull out your colt and shoot the player down, no you just grin and say "hey, stop spying!", that´s all. Its a game, nothing more. As I can read Magyarkhanchams threads, he is the only one, who is understanding this.

There is no really serious and important secret information you can get, if you go in other Clan´s forum (at least not in ELITE Forum and I hope not at all forums). Secret stuff shouldn´t posted in ezboard forums, you have to use safer ways to send secret material (everyone ought to know this).

But I wonder, that Tera himself didn´t see this point and made the accusements to a big political affair like "Watergate". Read his first defending post again...

a strange thing imo would be, if i was accused of something and if i was 100% sure that it was a setup i would have tried to bring in my own "evidence" to counter the one who was accusing me.

if a screenshot was used for evidence why didnt tera make a screencaptrure immediatly of his own browser envirronnement? and uploaded in here. cool people would say on this: "why should he, if ur innoncent?"

just adressing our feelings towards him, with some sensible words added is imo not enough to settle this matter. afterall he is the orgs administrator and for its future sake these people should be unquestioned concerning passwords and stuff....

i can reveal that our Khan aint angry, after all its patching season and not campaigning season.

I didn't knew about this topic until tonight, I've read all posts. Now I should assemble an answer.

The first thing that we all should pick up is: passwords are not magic locks that can only be opened by the legal master. Don't use an obvious password; if your nick is Fish don't take water as password.

I know that your head will blow with all those things to remember, but if the password at forum A is obtained/hacked/cracked, you can be assured that that this one will be tried at other forums/accounts as well: use different passwords, at least for 'important' stuff. It's also a good idea to regularly change passwords.

This UBB forum stores passwords in 'plain text', anyone who has 'access' and manages to find the right location can retrieve them.
I myself regularly do this as the mailserver refuses to send passwords out. I haven't allocated braincapacity/time to store passwords, as I'm still studying phonebooks.

I'll tell you a 'secret' here: we're looking for another forum, we didn't initiate this quest because of this privacy issue, but it seems to store passwords 'invisible'. Never trust a computer though and certainly not when it's connected with cyberspace.

Case Tera.
First the proof. I said it above: don't trust cyberspace. Computers are powerfull tools for all kind of things, I'm pretty sure I could generate a logfile that proves I'm chatting with Elvis. Pics: didn't our Photoshopmaster Solypsist proved enough in the past? This proof is nothing. Well it does, but it doesn't prove that Tera is guilty.

The person. I could go on for about an hour how long I 'know' him, but I won't. Simply and shortly put: I don't think that Tera has done this, he has the power to do it, but I think he didn't. I don't have prove for my thinking either.

Originally, the sword dojo didn't use nicks and passwords. All went perfectly fine, until someone thought it would be funny to 'use' someones else name to discuss things. I can safely say that that was the worst period for the org ever. The org has passwords now to stop that, it doesn't have passwords to ensure your privacy all over the internet.

I would be very disapointed if anyone from the staff 'pulled tricks' like described here, but the org is just a meetingplace (including files) not the national bank.
