More Clan Fights !

Hi guys,

Most of us know that we play much higher quality battles when playing with a partner(s) you are used to.

We also know that such battles (with a clan m8) is easily won when facing independant players.

So, why don't we try to organize more frequent clan fights ? We could set some "Clan fight hours" , for example :

(UK time) Monday to friday Sat & Sun

Europe clans 9 to 11 pm
American clans 3 to 5 am
Asian clans 3 to 5 pm
All clans 4 to 8 pm

This is a vague suggestion which could be studied, it could improve MP interest fights and increase number of clans.

"All clans hours" is supposed to be for Sun & Sat
"Europe, American & Asian clans hours" for Monday to Friday.

most clans doesnt really want to know where they stand in teh hierachy. better keep it misty so all can claim to be best.

a real clanwar cant be directed, it must be the result of some real pain and anger online... or just a simple challenge

I dont know about clan wars but a friendly clans tournament would be fun I think. As a clan war it should be 3 separate categories I feel...2v2, 3v3 and 4v4. I think these really show a clans teamwork 1v1's only show an individual players skill.

Hey I was thinking how about a .com vs .org tournament. That should be fun, individual players can choose to fight for .org or .com create a fun competitive totalwar civilwar.

But I think Magy got the wrong idea. Frog is suggesting we all meet at certain times to play each other. No competition no war or some role playing idea just good battles with faces old and new, remember them days?
I think the gg slogan is used without thinking. Many times I have come on-line to play and I host a 2v2 only to find a noob brings a silly army a rush army etc, etc and the game is boring all that waiting around all them re-logs only to find your ally or enemy can't be bothered to think. Please don't get me wrong about noobs I like them I encourage them to play and I give lessons to them to improve their game and enjoyment. I am no master player I only strive for a decent game and to increase the level of new players so we all have a good ally when we need one. I for one thank the clans online who let me join them on their side because their clan m8s aren’t on line. Like the elites, Aggony's, Kenchi's and any other's, but even then we get games were we end up murdering them because there new players and have yet to learn or there not bothered and want to laugh because they made fun of the effort people have put in to host or play the game.
So if anyone wants to play competitive games then discuss it if not then don't.

Taking suggestions at Total War Assembly for the first "TWA Clan Games" tournament. Each clan has to specify teammates for 2v2 3v3 4v4 and so on with an alternate for each once a Clan Tourney goes up. Give me your ideas on the format and time frame that clans would be interested. The field can be 4, 8, or 16 clans.

Also, get your clans and members registered...

Where were you when I needed you? http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/frown.gif Anyways you got a good point there. It's much more fun in 2v2/3v3/4v4 if you have allies who at least get the basics of the game like a decent line up. And if we would solve this by only playing ppl we know it might let some newcomers feel left out. As long as the patch aint here the games are mostly meaningless anyway so why not use the time we have to give some training like lunch does? Keep up the good work m8.

ahh yes i get your point youssef. i dont wish to exclude anybody from these meeting times. noobs would be welcome just has long has they would listen to the advise and play the game in a more realistic fasion. So come guys if we want good battles lets get together, noobs and vets alike and enjoy this game.
Once again i can't stress enough that this is not a torny thread.

Why don't we just all try to remember that every sunday (or another best suiting day) it will be the "Clan war day" ?

Let's choose a day in the week .

Will it work ? i dunno but at least it's not bothering to try .
