RTR 5.2 crashed

i downloaded 5.2 and on the begining screen when i move the mouse the arrow tracces itself until the whole screen is a mess. Befre i downloaded the mod i had a saved game on vannilla 1.2 can this be the problem? and if i download the later versions of RTR will it fix the problem? please if any one knows how to fix this ill appricated alot

I had exactley the same problem. with me it helped to download 5.3 and then 5.4 and then the 5.4.1 patch

A question though, does the menu still have the same skin ( I mean the red with fighting people background ~:) ) as it had in the vanilla game ?
If it still doesn't work, after you;ve installed the latest version , you should then uninstall RTR and install it over again.

PS : no I don't think it had anything to do with the saved games.

I would recommend installing 5.3, 5.4, and 5.4.1. This is a known issue, but I can't remember the solution—some tech-support guy I am, huh? I think it might be fixed by patching, though.
