Who is the first German Clan?

Dear Community,

most players of the community know the Clan Elite Force and they also know, that they are a German Clan. The older members of the community know also, that this Clan exists since 2 years.

To our suprise a new created German Clan maintains to be the "First German Clan in Medieval". It is the Clan "Bruderschaft der Templer".

Clan Elite Force never claimed to be the "first" in any case, but we expect at least, that another Clan doesn´t twist the facts. Elite Force stepped without any break from STW to Medieval, therefore "Bruderschaft der Templer" can´t be the first German Clan in Medieval.

We asked the Bruderschaft, wether they could take their wrong statement back. But to our second surprise they just ignored us and insist to be the First German Clan in Medieval.

Some of you helped Elite Force to win the HABA price and some of you are always friendly to our Clan. Therefore I hope we get support by some of the guys in the Online Community to tell the other German Clan the truth. Thell them, that they are not the FIRST GERMAN CLAN IN MEDIEVAL.

Doesn´t matter wether I believe it or not. The point is, lot of new german players and even a german magazine believed them. This make us sad.

Well I guess their claim - which was designed to gain them credibility - has just done exactly the opposite!

Elite-Force are definetely one of the legendary clans, not only an "old" clan + they're the winners of the last campaign + winners of HABA.

i rember the Elite Of from shogun was a good clan and i rember them being all german cause they spoke it and i could'nt understand a word they were saying.
if i could understand german id post in there forum backing you up but i dont konw nothing in german soz.

But at least we ve existed far before the newer Clan claimed to be the first.

Thank you all for the support, we appreciated it...our protest and your support seemed to become a success, when their deputy Clan leader told me in the chat, that they are going to change the HP.

But we are sad to tell you all, that was again a lie, just to stop us. And all our efforts, to bring BDT the truth, is wasted.

They still ignore us and maintain to be the first German Clan in Medival.

Here the final and official answer of their Clan leader Sir Edward:

„Zur Zeit scheint ein Kleiner Streit ausgebrochen zu sein wegen dieser bezeichnung erster Medieval Clan. Ich will hier wirklich keinen Krieg anfangen aber wir waren die ersten bei Medieval bei TotalWar insgesammt mögt ihr die ersten gewesen sein aber bei Medieval direkt waren wir es und unsere HP ist schon ziemlich lange Online. Ihr habt bei uns was ins Gästebuch geschrieben von wegen gut miteinander umgehen das machen wir immer Ich und meine Brüder. Es gibt jetzt zwei möglichkeiten entweder wir vertragen uns oder wir können diesen Streit bis zu seinem Logischen Ende austragen aber denn eintrag auf der HP " Erster deutscher Medieval Clan" werde ich nicht ändern.“

Translation:

„At the present time it seems that a little argument has started because of the term „first Medieval Clan“. I really don´t want to start war, but we were the first in Medieval, you may be the first in whole Total War, but we were it in Medieval directly and our HP is online for quite a long time allready. You wrote in our guestbook something about how to treat well with each other, but that´s what we, me and my brothers, allways do. There are two options now, either we get along with each other or we fight it out to its logical end, but I won´t change the entry in our HP „First Geman Medieval Clan“ (Sir Edward, Grand Master of the Clan BDT).


This is a very sad answer. They just ignore our arguments. If they maintain to be the first German Clan in Medieval, they get every other new German player believe, that Clan Elite Force is a newer Clan than the BDT´s.

Furthermore our whole Clan members are really angry and we are discussing how to react and I would like to know your oppinion in this case. How would your Clan react, if you would be in a similar situation? I want to know your opinion, cause I don´t want to go on with any actions, which could harm the community. We have very strong and bad feelings now, but we don´t want to break the lines, so help us, we need a canalization.

Suggest how Clan´s should handle such disputes in a honourable way.

Please don´t suggest, that we ought to fight it out on the multiplayer battlefield. We did it, and they lost every battle terribly (I fought personally 6 batttles). Even one of their members was so impressed about the battles that he asked to join our Clan (but we won´t let him join, cause he could be a spy), but the whole victories didn´t help : (((
