hi folks

trying to use caligula (latest version downloaded from lead post on this page). Trying to batch process all cavalry so they get a +5 charge.

Ok, load Category - cavalry.
Then Category - cavelry again, in the main box.
For 'search' I leave it empty (there isnt one for category in it anyway).
Do the +
do 4
click process

Nothing happens. The save changes button doesnt light up.

Also, the guide on the authors website does not match the screen shot of the current version (there is no STRING field in his tutorial)

can anyone help?

thanks

Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan hiiiiiiiiiim!!! (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=45854)

You should post this either in the Caligula & Hadrian thread (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=38858) or the General forum (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=73).

Make sure you select something for the 'search' box, it doesn't matter what, cause you want to do it to all cavalry, just select something. Leave the string field blank and it will modify all units of the selected category.

Save changes doesn't need to light up for batch work, the process button does the saving in memory, just save the file. Sadly I keep forgetting to fix it so after pressing the process button you can save the file, just select a unit the normal way (also check that the batch operation worked) click save changes, and it should light up, you don't need to make any adjustments to the unit, beyond your batch operation.
