I've registered a GW guild called "Total Warriors" (yes yes I know, not terribly creative... :tongue2:)for Total War players and/or forumites. Anyone is free to join or leave at any time; the initial purpose of this guild is to be a "temporary guild" of sorts for TW'ers to find like-minded people to play and possibly trade with.

All you need to do is to post your player name here, and I'll send you an invitation.

Later on, if there is some interest, I'm willing to sponsor a cape and a guild hall, but that requires at least a few people to join up and play somewhat regularly. Guild halls are quite expensive, and the price ~ is going up all the time... ~;)

Note that anyone in the world can join any guild; the international districts can be used to meet and play with people from different continents.

unfortunately i can't join because being the egotistical maniac that i am, yesterday i went ahead and named my own guild after myself

i hope the TW guild does well. i and my guild can be like an ally guild or something to the TW guild. or if you guys just want an ally for some missions, who's not a total idiot who dies every two seconds, feel free to message me

my in-game name is "Navaros Owns You" (without the quotes)

A very fitting name, Nav! ~D

There's already been some interest in the TW guild, potential membership is somewhere between four and seven. I can't access GW from here, so sending invitations will have to wait until Monday.

My main char is Kent Vicars, if anyone wants to contact.

Its a pity that you can only be in one guild at a time. I am already in a guild, but if anyone wants to look me up, the name is Constance De Sarna

If anyone needs help... or feel like helping me (oh god, am I bad at that game and do I need all the help you can give ~D ), add Eudes De St Amant to your list...

Nice name you got there Lehesu... Where are you playing?

Where...My actual physical location is in the United States, in a backward little state called Georgia (j/k). Got a warrior/necromancer character, still in the first stages, at level 6. Part of the Emerald Mantis guild, EMan for short. Small guild...we don't even have capes yet, although we are working on that.

The TW guild has now exactly three (!) members, me, Louis and Trish (all FF'ers.) :tongue2: It'll most likely be a temporary, transitional guild, unless more people join up.

Lehesu, I might be able to help with that cape problem. Want a loan? ~D

Ooo...tempting. However, I would be just as content to know where the hell I can find that cloth/burlap/100%cotton that I need for the capes. Just from normal monster drops?

Anyhoo, if anyone scores any green dye, I would be most interested in it. I have purple and silver right now...the purple I don't need, the silver I might need but would we willing to ditch for the green.

We're still talking about the guild cape, right? The two gray bars are not materials - they're platinum pieces, each worth 1,000 gold pieces. Thus, all you need to buy a cape is 2,000 gold. Which is why I offered that loan. ~;)

Ewww....that's a shot to the gut. I am at less than a quarter of that, although I did get my green dye. Pity there isn't poker integrated into the game, I bet I could turn a tidy profit. About that loan...I think I will decline for the moment, at least until I am a little closer in.

i got my cape fairly easily because there was this one guy saying "WTB 6 tanned hides"

so i sent him a whisper saying 600g, and he said OK and made that deal with me

of course what i gave him was not worth anywhere near 600g. but the point is, rich people in the game sometimes will play free and lose with their money so it can never hurt to offer to sell at ludicrous prices. if the buyer is rich and just wants the stuff now, he might go ahead and pay you the crazy price. of course this strategy does not always work. it's more like an ace in the sleeve kinda thing.

Well, my guild managed to scrape together the money for the cape. It is completely white, with the stylized mantis-looking-thing in emerald.
