I was asked to compile a list of ten songs yesterday, and I could barely get past #2...
Let's see if I can do this.
In no particular order (artist - title):
Immortal - Where Dark and Light Don't Differ
Korpiklaani - Hullunhumppa
Absu - Stone of Destiny (for Magh Slecht and Ard Righ)
Nunslaughter - Raid the Convent
Satyricon - Dark Medieval Times
Man, is this list ever subject to change.

Man, impossible.... I'll just throw in some great songs:
"Sun Is Shining" - Bob Marley & the Wailers (Absolutely mystical :sunny:)
"Making History" - Linton Kwesi Johnson (One of LKJ's best song).
"Stand Firm" - Peter Tosh (One of my favorite Tosh tune. Nice lyrics too: "'If you want be saved son, you got to go in your grave son', pack of bulls**t, that is bulls**t, I say". ~D )
"Tradition" - Burning Spear (Whew!     )
"Rainbow Chariot" - John Brown's Body (Relatively new song, but a slayer).

And then there was silence - Blind Guardian
Crazy Train - Ozzy Osbourne
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath - Black Sabbath
War Pigs - Black Sabbath
Stairway to heaven - Led Zeppelin

The Unforgiven 2 - Metallica
In no order and I had to do 10 because 5 isn't enough. There are many more songs which I just love, very, very hard to choose a specific 5 or 10 as your favorites. All of those are brilliant tunes though, I recommend any of them to everyone.

I really hate these type of questions, as they are so incredibly hard to narrow down to just 5 songs. So here are just a few favourites, not in any particular order though, and yes, I have kept them to rock songs only, as was the question.
1. More than a feeling - Boston. A great track, plus there are a few lines which mean a lot to me.
2. Ride on - AC/DC. Yet another great track, I think it's the best one they did, and I am a big AC/DC fan.
3. Fade to black - Metallica. These were about my favourite group almost from the first time I heard the first album, up until the release of the sixth album Load, which I just couldn't get into. The entire black album, with the exception of Enter Sandman (which ended up becoming rather boring).
4. Shine on you crazy diamond parts 1 & 2 & Wish you were here - Pink Floyd.
5. Alone - Suicidal Tendencies. Although my brother borrowed my Lights, Camera, Revolution CD, and he lost the actual CD, so now I just have the cover, and memories of some great songs.
6. From out of nowhere & Epic - Faith no more.
7. Janie's got a gun - Aerosmith.
8. Hallowed be thy name - Iron Maiden.
9. Dallas 1 pm, Denim & Leather, and Crusader - Saxon.
10. White Lightning - Def Leppard.
Well, that's a few more than 5, but I could go on almost forever, so that should give you at least some idea of my favourites.

Rock tunes eh ~D
Early man's attempts to make rock music.
1.Man hitting ground with rock, makes killer ants angry, man ripped to bits by killer ants.
2.Man hitting other rock with rock, thus creating fire instead of music, man catches on fire.
3.Man hitting other man with rock, man gets arrested and hung stoned to death.
4.Man hitting jellyfish with rock, jellyfish goes scweesh, man covered in jellyfish bits and dies of jellyfish poison.
5.Man hitting himself on head with rock, causes him to have a strange vision, invents religion, lots of people die.

Not sure, but they would all be Led Zeppelin songs. You just cant beat those guys. :guitarist:
Finally, the ultimate tunes:
"So Much Trouble in the World" - Bob Marley & the Wailers (album: Survival). Simply one of his best. :charge:
"War" - Bob Marley & the Wailers (album: Rastaman Vibration). Marley's best rhythm music. .
"Rebel Music" - Bob Marley & the Wailers (album: Rebel Music). On par with 'War' in terms of rhythm. Fierce. ~D
"Time Will Tell" - Bob Marley & the Wailers (album: Kaya). His earthiest song. Even better than 'Redemption Song'.
"One Drop" - Bob Marley & the Wailers (album: Survival). Marley's melodic best. Perfect.
"Liesense Fi Kill" - Linton Kwesi Johnson (album: More Time). And yet another monster ~ rhythm. This time from the Dub Band.
"New Word Hawdah" - Linton Kwesi Johnson (album: More Time). Excellent locked-on rhythm with crazy jazz horns to boot.
"I Am That I Am" - Peter Tosh (album: Equal Rights). Tosh's best. My favorite Tosh song. ~
Rage Against the Machine - People of the Sun/ their cover of "How I Could Just Kill a Man"
Mm. Evil Empire ruled, and that cover did too, but I'd go with Snakecharmer.
