Forgive me if this is old news to you folks, but I just wanted to share a little bit of info about stacking a depleted general unit with another (preferably upgraded) depleted unit. When you drag the general out of his army and drop him in the other unit, you'll notice the general star icon disappears, and another unit commander name appears, albiet with the upgrade. Thinking this irrevocable, and not wanting to lose a high honor general, I'd always save the game before hand and give up the drop. I learned quite by accident that when the "no general" refreshed unit is returned to the army, he reappears, large and in charge! If you want the upgrade, just be sure to bring him to the other unit. If he's already (all that he can be, so to speak) bring the other unit, regardless of upgrades to him. You can get some lovely honored &(armored) Kaga monk, Sagami No dachi, ect. generals thusly. Hope I've enlightened at least a few of you cyber warriors out there.

Lesser Taisho disappear when two are merged and one has a higher ranking, it seems.

That's news to me Moriboy.I used to just take my negative honor generals and use them for garrison duty.Nice to know I can "recycle" them.
