i'm working on a mod, but i did sumthing wrong in the desc_strat. every time i push the end turn button the game CTD's. someone knows how to fix this or volunteers to help me, can give me his mail and i'll send him a sample of the file

Unfortunately there are many reasons why your game CTD.
Before giving my e-mail ~D I'd like to know several things:

- Why do you think the problem is in descr_strat?
- Did you modify (or make new) the maps?
- Did you modify export_descr_units and export_descr_buildings?
- Do you use -show_err?

The mistake could be in any of those files or even in some other.

i use the error thing, but i doesn't help cuz it just shut down and nothing is showed. it must be the desc_strat cuz as soon as i replace it with my backup file it works (very clever of me). but i thought some veteran could help me out here

descr_strat errors are no fun...

how much/what did you change between your backup file and the one which does not work? That would be helpful to know.

What I usually do when I am editing descr_strat (or other big files) is make a backup copy, then, every time that I make changes and the game runs correctly, I paste the edited file's contents into the backup, so that I never lose more than one set of changes to a problem. ...that won't solve your current problem, but it has saved me a lot of time in my modding.

i did that, cuz first it wouldn't load. so after i fixed that i thought it was oke. (i'm still in the early stage so it doesn't really matter) but what i did was creating the roman empires and taking out unused factions, somewhere in that proces sumthing went wrong
