I have a few quistions to ask all of you more experiance modders.

1: How can I make my own strategic map, or is that possible.

2: how can I edit biffs and use them as the biffs for units.

3: How can you add a new faction.

4: where is a modding guid to these things.

Help would be gratefull.

Calm man....I'll answer you...I have some experience with modding

1. I don't think this is possible... You can only add provinces

2.You can mod biffs by using a bifreader... Check the tools...

3.VikingHorde posted a How to add a faction...CHeck that topic

4.Check the subforums of the modding MTW... It's a complete guide!!! Also check the FAQ...

Happy now???? ~:) ~;)

Cheers!!! ~

Actually you can make your own strategic map, but it'll take a lot of work, and from what I hear, there are a lot of chances to mess up. Also, theoretically, you can use bifreader to edit unit BIF's, but it's better to convert them to BMP's using BIF reader and use some other paint program to edit them.

If you're going to be making a map from scratch then the post I link to below, about defining new trade goods and activating them in the game, should come in handy.

Click this link (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showpost.php?p=403291&postcount=51).

I found this just minutes ago while I was reading the FAQ thread, which you will find in the Repository section. We can't post in there. In terms of signal to noise ratio, this is actually a good thing... ~;)
