Help!

I used to use Shareaza, but I think it is now a pay service; either way, it sucks. Nothing ever comes up on searches and downloads take forever.

Is bit torrent good?

I'm hoping to find something with a minimum of adware and spyware.

bit torrent is sorta slow. Kazza lite has no adware or spyware. Just make sure its the lite version.

Hmm, i sue shareza and it's not a pay service for me. Maybe the latest update is...i havn't checked in awhile.

Anyway, soulseek have this great option to "download containing folder". This means that you'll download the folder the file of your choice is in. t makes downloading whole albums a hell of a lot easier.

It's GUI isn't the easiest thing in the world. It's not exactly hard, but it takes some getting used to in comparison with kazaa, sharaza et al.

Sorry fellas, I'm going to have to close this-discussion and links to downloaders are off limits, even though they can be used legally.
