Well after 12 years of schooling my taxpayer funded education comes to an end tomorrow ~D

Honestly I don't know whether I should be overjoyed or saddened yet, but I definately feel a sense of accomplishment over the past and optimism for the future.

Congratulations to the Class of 2005 ~

I understand it's unfashionable nowadays, but take the year off and travel... once you start working you will not get enough holiday, and once you have a family you will not have enough money!

"Congratulations to the Class of 2005"

My last day is wednesday; I am definitely looking forward to it. Good luck in the future -- you're going into the army, right?

Well I'm going to Marine Corps bootcamp on June 14th, I tried getting my recruiter to move me into May 30th, but he said, "You'll be miserable either way, it's better to prolong your misery." ~D

When I get out of the Corps I plan to become a social studies or english teacher, I'm not sure whether I'll serve my five years then get out or serve a career, but teaching is definately what I want for a second career.

@Ichi, I'm not a badger, I love Western Wisconsin, but that's only because it's close to Minnesota and living is cheaper on the east side of the St. Croix. I'm really a gopher at heart.

@Kanomori, Wow that sucks going to school in June, there's some schools in Western Wisconsin that got out as early as May 18th and there's some (Rice Lake) that get out June 10th like everybody else.

I forgot to add that our class song is, Eve 6, "Here's to The Night" if it were up to me it would've been something cooler, but the other options were Kelly Clarkson, and two country songs :dizzy2:

I was wondering what other people had for grad songs, and what those who haven't graduated would want.

I'd like Friend of the Devil by the Grateful Dead.
It's wierd, the Junior class picks the prom song for some stupid reason in my school... Is that the same thing as a class song?

A prom song is not the same as a class song, also the junior class usually picks the prom song because it's their responsibility to raise money for prom.

I would've prefferd that our class song be A Lifetime by Better Than Ezra, it fits well with graduation even though it mentions a girl crashing her car on the way to her commencement.

"Lick, Lick, bang, bang, did so much it hurts to pee, we're the class of 93!!!"

That would've been an awesome quote ~D

Woah, you know Madison ~

I'm actually in Middleton, it's basically Madison anyways, but people know where Madison is, so I'm graduating from MHS.

Did you once live in Madison, or still do?

Wow. You scared me there when you said MHS, cause my school (Montgomery) is also MHS... then you realized what you were talking about.

Yeah, the juniors have to raze the money here as well. I wasn't sure if they were the same or not. Thanks for clearing that up.
Um, are they always current songs? Not that I care, cause I'll end up hating the song anyway, but...

Usually a recent song is picked, but I think we had a Hank Williams, song as one of our choices.

Just remember no matter how bad the class song is it could always be worse ~;)
