Okay, frustration is setting in. Time to drop back ten and punt.

Working on player-made units. Got plenty of LBM artwork, and tested the animation sequences in a separate animation program. Trying to implement them brings about either A)no change in game, or B) static-filled units. I even found out how to recreate the static effect, but I can't get it to work consistently! It seems that the Unit.BIF is for the low-res graphics, and Unit_H.BIF is the high end, but how/whether they're pulling graphic info from the LBM is a mystery.

Some people, like Chicken for example, used a hex-editor to modify colors within the game. Can any of you let me know what editor you are using? I may be able to make the final bridge at that point. I'm quite close, but these last problems are really getting me down! > http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/frown.gif

If this posting brings little help, I'll see if I can sneak a question to the Dev team to see if they can at least let me know what program I can import the graphic info into the BIF's with. *sigh* And here I thought this would be "fun".... Actually, it still is! I must be a geek, huh? http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/wink.gif
