Hey Everyone,

Today, Richie "The Shogun", posted up the STW Community Map Pack version 1.1 at the Official Community site! It contains 44 custom made maps from around the community, that were made using the Alpha-Demo Battle Trainer's built in Map Editor tools.
This will hopefully help to get all of the custom maps out there to the masses, so we'll find more players playing them all online.
I have the map pack at my site as well, and EVERYONE is welcome to it, and everyone should put a copy of it on their STW sites, clan, resource, or otherwise.
I will be doing a section over at my site this week, featuring pictures, strategies, interviews with the map's makers, and other interesting and helpful information pertaining to Mod Making, Map Editing, and more.
I encourage everyone to pick this "Mods.zip" up from the official site, or my site, and install it, ASAP. It's quick, it's easy, and it comes with an uninstaller so you can get rid of them if you don't like them for any reason. I'm sure that won't be necessary. http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/wink.gif

Everyone should also take the time to go by and visit the sites' of the map's creators, or to say thanks to them when you see them here in the forum. The map makers and contributors are:

Tosa-Inu @ Clan Takiyama (http://web.domaindlx.com/mylittleempire/)
Where you will find all of these maps and more seperately.

Rob - TotalWar.org/Sword Dojo Admin. and also a part of Clan Takiyama

Kraellin - Around here somewhere...
Axial @ Axial's STW site (http://www.af.wakwak.com/~axial/index_english.htm)
TheForce @ Darkside Clan (http://forceclan001.bizland.com/)
Kasin - for Sekigahara_Kasin
YariPigsy - for Waterloo

Many Thanks and Much Praise to these individuals for spending so much time and effort on these maps, tutorials, and tools that have helped to keep the game alive and kicking for everyone. http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/biggrin.gif

I'm sure you all will be quite happy and breath a sigh of relief when you get your hands on the Map Editor that's coming with the Expansion/Warlord Edition. http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/wink.gif

Ideas? Questions? Let me know!

I'm hoping to get the custom made Historical Scenarios added to the official site as well, perhaps by friday. If anyone has any that they are hiding, working on, or what have you, please let me know so we can get them out there and in the news.
