I never play vanilla RTW anymore , only RTR .
i Know lot's of people play this mod, however I dont know lot's of people who play it online, actually just 1 ; Wishazu ( and myself ~:) )
So I was wondering if we could maybe set up a competition for RTR PM, for the CoH members. Maybe a weekend competition or something like that.
So what do you think about this ?

NihilisticCow has set up a rtr ladder on gamespy. i havnt signed up to it yet cos we are busy with the cwc, if we get knocked out in our game tomoz then maybe i can start to arrange some rtr games.

Ive talked with someone playing RTR, now he is playing Chivalry TW mod. He is of oppinion that Chivalry TW mod is curently best balanced mp mod around.
Chivalry TW mod (http://www.stratcommandcenter.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=9939)
I didn't want to hijack this threat. I hope you don't mind this post. Anyhow RTR or Chivalry mod.
It would be much better if more people would play one of them.
Good luck.

Imorthorn - If you are getting a incompatible data message preventing you from joining online RTR games, it seems to be due to two auto-generated map.rwm files. To allow you to join the game, all players must delete these files - there is a shortcut in the RTR directory called RTR-Patcher.bat. This must also be repeated in between games - I just have a shortcut to it on my desktop and alt-tab out and run it after I play a game.

Imorthorn , try the following:
go to your RTW directory file , then go to data, world, maps, base ( delete the map.rwm file )
now go back to maps , now select campaign, RTR , the select the same file as before and also delete this file.
you should have deleted 2 ( the same ) files.
MP should work now.
PS this is exactly the same as Nihilist said
and beware , you will have to delete those files every time you want to play a MP battle
