Yet another one of my silly polls. ~:)

So, how many IC`s have you completed?
I`ve completed one, my first Julii campaign when everything was new and exciting.

-edit-
There was originally an option for 16+, but somehow it got lost in the process, so if you have completed more than 15(!), then vote for the last option.

i just finished 2, but it could be more if i wanted to take rome instead of play further (before i knew you could play on). also i get bored very fast.

Zero. A better poll would be 'how many times have you played right through to the end date?' Then again, it wouldn't be better because the answer would be so predictable. 0. But, if i keep going with my greek camapign (currently in 44bc) i should be able to reach the year 14AD.

2. My first Julii campaign and one as Carthage.

I´ve got the TW-syndrome - I get bored when I get too powerful. Then I start a new camp. Haven´t played the Gauls or Germans yet so some challenges are still left before RTR 6.0 and EB are released.

yes, I have done exactley the same.
Although I have done numerous other campaigns, the only one that came close to me completing it was my Gaul campaign.

However playing RTR I tend to finish my campaigns ( also just 2 for that matter )

Honestly, I've only completed one, and that was the first one that I started (Julii). Afterwards I would start a campaign, but never finish it. It just kinda gets "old" after awhile.

1. My first campaign as Julii

Like most everyone here once I get powerful I get bored and start as someone else. Ususally I tend to switch cultures with each new game too. Ex play as Romans, get bored, play Hellenic, get bored, Barbarian etc.

Just the 2.My second campaign when i played as Carthage and i then reloaded my first campaign when i played as the Julii and finished that one off too.I just cannot be bothered anymore after i get established and have conquered my immediate enemies. There is hardly ever a superpower growing in opposition to you somewhere else on the map(RTR sorts this out to some extent).I used to love in MTW when playing as a European faction you would wonder when the Almohads were going to come steam-rollering up through Spain or when the Turks or Eggys' were going to cross the Bosphorus.

In the six months I've owned the game I have finished precisely zero campaigns (Imperial or Survival). I just don't have much time, and most of the time I put into RTW is online.

I got to such a situation that I modded all the factions to be available.

Started as every possible faction and only recently actually completed a short campaign with the Julii, in which I took 15 provinces and destroyed the Gauls without Flavius Julius dying. :charge: :charge:

I agree though, I miss playing MTW as the Euros, thinking I'd done pretty well for myself, then I see the dreaded purple, green or yellow start to trickle towards me ~D.

If you mean up to 50 provinces, then 1, as the Julii which was my first. I'm very close to that on my Gaul camp, but i play others now. Anyway, as most other ppl have already said, it becomes boring once you beat your No.1 enemy and sometimes not even that. Let's consider the Julii, you only need to take patavium and mediolanum and you can consider it a done deal (yes, segesta and segestica are close enough and segesta is a turn 1 senate mission, but that doesn't really matter).

Thats what i found Shogun to excell at, cos after you conquered half of japan, you found the other half owned (mainly at least) by some other faction which also had a lot of armies, so that kept thngs going.

About five, Brutii, Seluecids, Spartans (the rest of the Greeks don't count), Carthage, Julii and Germanics.

I'm still working on my first IC and I got the game on the day it came out. The only campaigns I ever really finished were for STW/MI. I spend too much time on each turn thinking things through before building/moving/fighting. It really slows things up. I'd love to finish up and move on to some of the other factions, but that seems unlikely.

I play mostly short campaigns. After your factions has become a larger and incredible rich empire there is no real challenge. I`ve tried to play until 14ad with the julii, and I am now in 50BC. But the campaign got very boring. The only thing to do is to bribe the every turn returnig brigand armys.

That's better than I've done. I think my limit thus far has been 187 BC.

3 campaigns finished: Scipii, Germania and Seleucid. I'll get to them all sooner or later. On the other hand, I haven't played every Medieval faction.

I play slowly and fight ever single battle. A campaign takes me weeks to play. I'm also dividing my PC recreation time among other games.

I finished 4 of them, three full IC and a short one; First when I got the game choosing medium level, short IC and July. Later raising the difficulty level and playing long IC with July and also one with Carthago.

Now I was playing a VH/VH with de July...but when I got Rome, I thought I could rule the world...so, now I had ride of all but Egytian and Scipion....I am my way to rule all of them.
