Hail our moderators who take care of us not letting everyone to see what crap we are saying and banning all the national and hate %^$# we are posting!!!(Gregoshi especially, he amazed me with his reaction in the Fall of Constantinople topic!)

Cheers!!! ~

Yep, the mods at this site do a great job. Well, at least in the forums I visit. I've never been to MTW forums, or STW forums. I'm sure they are kept in order too though.

They sure do a good job. There allways seems to be a problem at the .org. But it dosn't matter our mods are allways here to fix it. Great job guys.

Is this a little propaganda parade or something, meant to make us all feel better about the .Org, and distract us from something bad that is happening? If not, then yes, congrats to the mods.

=]Moderator Edit[=

Moderator strolls through whistling while whirling baton. *Thunk* drags off Mikeus Caesar and replaces him with clone number 5.

MC-5 'All hail the Org! The Org! is always correct!
I think Clayton is a really cool guy!'

Feeling paranoid yet ~D ~;)

Wait just one dang second...how could you have edited that today, when the member list says your last visit was the exact same day you joined up, 09-26-2001? And how could you have gotten 6,394 in that one day? Wait a sec...oh my god, it's a conspiracy!!! Run for your lives people!!!

Aye mods do a good job. Of course they have never had the unpleasant experience of modding the .com at release date. It drove aurelius to drink, again. ~D

Only joking every mod in both the .org and .com deserve a big pat on the back. ~

The .com on the other hand is the internet equivalent of the USSR...

Oh they are so lucky: "It's so much easier to rule in a dictatorship." ~

Seriously, it is up to the patrons to self moderate themselves.

Most of what we do is shuffle the topics to the correct forum.

Amen, brother. Our job here is easier, because the ones who make it through our registration and vetting process WANT to be here. The .com guys have to deal with the Johnny-just-bought-the-game-and-have-a-complaint crowd, and the resultant chaos that ensues. Whole different kinda job. And they're unpaid volunteers for that abuse. Major props

Nevertheless, on behalf of the staff here at .org: Thanks for your support and acknowledgement, folks. I'm certain I can confidently say that we all appreciate that you think we're doing the right thing.

Always keep in mind that we have the Watchtower (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=26) , the place to air grieveances, suggest forum changes, and generally have a say about how things are done here at this place we've grown to enjoy.

The Watchtower also has a magnificent view, fine dining and an after dinner show. So it is something to take the girls to. ~D

hmmmmmmmmmm, I think I smell a touch of this:
http://redwing.hutman.net/~mreed/Assets/sycophant.jpg
Sycophant differs from Me-Too in that he is much more concerned with sucking up than he is with actually doing battle. Of course, he WILL engage in some light combat to impress Big Dog and other stronger Warriors, but he never exposes himself to unnecessary danger. Although combatants sometimes employ Sycophant to buttress an attack, his constantly shifting loyalties make him a weak and unreliable ally.

Only joking! The moderators do an excellent job here.

I guess I should also voice my oppinion.

The mods here do a great job,
And even though it pains me to compliment any 1,
I do beleve they should be complimented,

So Heres my attempt at a compliment,

"you do a great job here at the org,
Thank you for making my time here enjoyable
And keep up the good work"

Bear in mind that The closest most people get to a compliment from me is,
"well thats not to bad"
or
"thats ok"

So from me thats like the key to the city, or a nobel peace prize :)

I suppose the mods are seeing this, so I'll tell what Clayton did, [...temprarily removed for adjudication...] - KukriKhan

(in response to me saying the talk funny thread should be closed, look at it and you'll see what I mean.)

Berserker, In another thread you told me you've PMed the mods. If that is so then there is no need to keep talking about it publicly. It's between you, Clayton and BKS now. If you understand where i'm coming from. Talking about it more openly on the forum doesn't do any good. if you have indeed PMed the mods, action will be taken.

Thank you

Beserker!

Forward the PM to a mod. Perhaps BKS because he is in charge of the Frontroom where the "Talk funny thread" is located.

Just PM any mod though, I'm sure they can all deal with PM's.

Berserker!, I temporarily removed your post while we look into this matter. It will be resolved soon.

All others: I personally guarantee that contacting ANY Moderator, any time, about any problem, will get you a prompt response. Never hesitate to do so. Each of us has a different area of expertise and experience; if the 1 you contact doesn't know, he or she knows another Mod who does. We are all eager to help.

I have not run into a problem with Mods, and it seems as though stimulating debate is allowed until it degenerates into pie throwing and dirt kicking.

Expect for one newly annointed moderator once... he/she seemed a tad 'eager'...

No matter.

Yay. Good job. Yarrghh.
