View Full Version : Peanut Butter!
Well, next to beer and pizza, peanut butter is one of the essential food groups.
What's your preference as to brand? What kind of toast? What do you put with/on it? Crunchy or smooth?
I remember Jif being really good. I tend to eat the organic stuff these days, though it can be a bitch to manipulate. Whole wheat bread only. Never white! Sometimes bagels. Grape jelly or strawberry jam. Crunchy!

Brown bread. Smooth peanut butter. No specfics as to which brand.
Peanut butter! It sticks to the teeth, rapes your breath and turns your bowels into ground zero! It is evil I tell you. But very good with banana's.

I like Kraft smooth, any bread, sometimes waffles, pancakes, and pizza, with either pizza ingredients, jam, butter, honey, ketchup, or ice cream. Quite a delicacy on my planet.
At your service, Evil_Maniac From Mars, crazy disciple of smooth peanut butter.

Lately I've been getting Skippy, smooth or crunchy, don't matter. Toga loves wonderous variety. One of my fave ways to consume it is with boysenberry jam in a sandwich (I like to lightly toast the wheat bread).
Recently the local mart had an outrageous sale price on the giant Hershey's Milk Chocolate and Almonds bars. I would break off a square, dip it in peanut butter, and then munch. Yummy, and way cheaper than peanut butter cups (plus the almonds add a nice flavor and crunch).
I often just eat it by the spoonful as a snack, with a glass of milk.

"Crazy Richard's" Natural Chunky Peanut Butter!
It's only peanuts and oil. No sugar or hydrogenated oils. Yet it still manages to be smooth, tasty, and manageable. Most natural peanut butters I had before tasted like sticky peanut gravel. This one is better than Jif and the other mainstream peanut butters.
For bread: Pepperidge Farms 12 grain bread.
For jelly: I'm partial to cherry preserves at the moment.
"Crazy Richard's" Natural Chunky Peanut Butter!
That sounds great! I'm going to look for it. The ones we get here taste good enough, but cement-like they most certainly are.

"Crazy Richard's" Natural Chunky Peanut Butter!
Umm. The marketing man who came up with that wasn't familiar with Cockney rhyming slang I take it...
(NB for non-londoners "Richard"= "Richard the Third", as in "Brad"= "Brad Pitt", Viz "Watch me Guinness a minute I'm just popping off for a brad.")
Does it give you crazy Richards, as a matter of interest?

STENCH RESISTANCE MEETS PLAN FOR NEW SEWER
A large group of stench protesters gathered at the .org today to protest the proposed building of a new sewer just below the backroom.
The protesters could not be reached for comment, but graffitied the word "Bartix" all over the walls.
An anonymous government official said that he, "Had not heard of any plans regarding a sewer."
