Hi

I am having a lot of trouble on rome total war concerning governers, In the early stages of the game all my governers had good traits but later on in the game when my cities are big and built up all my governers dont have hardly any good traits, I dont have any trouble with them gaining command points or influence points I just cant get them to keep there management points, there retinues are really good but thier bad traits cancel out all the management points, I cant seem to stop my govs from developing crappy traits, no matter what settlement i put them in they turn bad ( even in capital with a ludis magna) can anyone explain why my govs traits are turning bad plz help its driving me mad!!!

This could go into a discussion about build plans, etc., but I should probably ask this first... Have you downloaded the 1.2 patch?

If you have, there are some problems with the VnV triggers in the 1.2 patch. player1 was has been spending waaaay too much of his time searching for inconsistencies in the files (but we do appreciate the effort! ), and has a mod/fix for the problems. Here's the thread with his fixes and updates:

edit: almost forgot... Welcome to the .Org! ~

May I humbly direct you to this link (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=45969), which might be useful?

Good luck!

....problems with the VnV triggers...

I've been meaning to ask, what does VnV mean? (virtues & vices?)

Yes, they certainly do mean vices and virtues.
