I have just been to the pub and had a few beers :dizzy2:
quite strange, but perhaps the effect of the beer brings me to put the most important questions in life to the .org :barrel:
Whats everyones favourite beer lager etc ? ~D
Mine are
Stella
Grolsch
Kronenbourg
maybe there are even some Fosters fans out there  which is my least favourite beer/lager)
For me this tastes like what a field would taste like if it were personified in a beer ~D

American Beer = Watery Piss.
British larger is bad, but the ales are the best outside of Scandinavia / Bavaria.

Wha is an ASBO? I amn unfamiliar with the term. And it was in my own yard, gosh!

Anti-Social Behaviour Orders. They're Labours latest pointless way of telling people off without actually punishing them in any serious way, because "its probably not their fault."

I don't see why they don't just run people plain 'outta town just like back in them good ol' days.
Seriously though, why can't we just ban people from a town for being arseholes. Send them to a place where their loud behaviour and barely comprehensible garbage is tolerable. I don't know where, but maybe if we group all these people together they'll sort themselves out. Maybe kill each other. Their economy couldn't possibly survive, there's only so many drug dealers and jobless 21 year olds that one community can support.

come on people
what are your favourite beers?
Laridus Konivaich

Are you saying something about me?
But running people out of town could be good, although towns are less well defined than they used to be, more urban sprawl.

You guys are generalizing, cause you're too lazy to go discover the good stuff....
Sierra Nevada (America)
Spitfire (UK)
Tiger (Singpaore)
Saporro (Japan, have to be in the right mood)
Beamish Stout (Ireland)
Warsteiner (sp?) (Germany)
For commonly found brews:
Sam Adams, Becks, Bass Ale
I actually can't stand Stella. I'd rather drink weasel piss, or even Coors then that stuff.
I don't know the brand, but go to a beer hall in Munich and order 'mass' and then you've got yourself a glass of heaven.

ugh, stella... a few wife-beaters, eh?
I shall categorise...
Stout: Guinness (preferably Guinness Export, from Nigeria, I think)
Ale: Tend not to drink it, too expensive...
Bitter: Best
Lager: There was a good German white one, but I can't remember its name...

Ah, beer. beer beer beer. A subject dear to my heart.
Spitfire (Don, I am hugely impressed that you have heard of this, let alone like it. No patronising intended, its a long way from Faversham to NE USA) I see BTW they are producing it as a keg beer as well as cask this is NOT GOOD. ( this is why http://www.camra.org.uk/SHWebClass.ASP?WCI=ShowDoc&DocID=2243) And its in cans now as well as bottles and the bottles aren't bottle conditioned anymore, grumble grumble....
Also the Shepherd Neame seasonal beers, Early Bird, Goldings Summer and Late Red
If I can't have Shepherd Neame then Fullers London Pride is good, and Green King IPA is also OK. Oh, and Adnams do good beers, I like Broadside.
(These are all bitters)
Failing any of this Guinness Murphys or Beamish will do. Lager is an invention of the devil, in the UK at least,
CAMRA has no objection to the high quality traditional lager beers of the Continent. What we do object to is the inferior products fobbed off on many British drinkers
Couldn't put it better myself.
Guinness on occasion, can't drink it all the time or the spare tire inflates. Same with Murphy's. Old Speckled Hen is good on draft, I would not recommend it in the cans/bottles they sell over here in the States though. Unfortunately, most continental beers arrive here skunked, so it's hard to truly appreciate them.
My utility beer is Moosehead, nice crisp taste, not too filling. I think my buddies and I are responsible for most of their US east coast sales ~

As long as it's available and free I'll drink it ~;)
Though in all seriousness, Guinness outside of Ireland is pretty much Crap. Good ol' Stout German Lager is my first choice.
Worst Beer: Pabst Blue Ribbon
Worst Beer: Pabst Blue RibbonFirst thing that came to mind, from the movie Blue Velvet:
"What kind of beer you drink, neighbor?"
"Heineken."
"Heineken? F@ck that sh*t! Pabst Blue Ribbon!"

Further than you think, they don't export it to the US (I think just Hong Kong). I only know it because I visit my sister, who lives in Ulverston. My brother in law is on loan from our submarine builder (Electric Boat) to yours (Vickers). Damn good stuff.
Oh, blimey, how could I have forgotten my workhorse. The other stuff is terrific (I like Guiness too, but trust me, try a Beamish), but neither the wallet nor the waist will tolerate too much of the good stuff. Yuengling is a fine brew for every day consumption. Good on tap or in bottle.

Well you are still doing well to seek out good Kentish ale and not that northern stuff they have up there, what is it, Hartleys in the lake district IIRC.
But, to live in the US where Spitfire is unavailable, and yet to know the nectar exists. Man, I feel your pain.

I don't like beer or lager, they all taste the same to me, crap.
Give me a vodka and Irn Bru or a Dooleys anyday, or preferably everyday.
