1.2 patch installation problems

After a break from the game I wanted to try the total realism mod and reinstalled, then downloaded the 1.2 patch from totalwar.com.

The problem is that I can't get the patch installed: When I try to start the patch exe I am prompted for language. As I have a UK version of R:TW I chose 'English (UK)'... "The selected language for the patch does not match the original installation language"

Hm... Perhaps I should select 'English (US)' then... "The selected language for the patch does not match the original installation language"

Ok... Maybe i need 1.1 first... *downloads and installs 1.1* ... "The selected language for the patch does not match the original installation language"

I suggest you post your problem in one of the tech forums (Apothecary), the guys there know a lot (a lot more than me) about all the problems that surround RTW.

I have a similar problem too, i can dowload the patch, just not install it.
