Floyd are my fav rock group - with the legendary Asmith of course - simply brilliant stuff.

It will be interesting to see whether David Gilmour's and Roger Waters' respective mammoth egos will allow them to go forward with this. Given the unbelievable popularity of the original Live Aid and the fact that it was THE musical event of its time I doubt both Gilmour and Waters will miss getting in on the action twice in a row! It's prime time limelight for pop music's attention whores and divas! Talk about moths to a flame!

So I imagine Gilmour and Waters will only get together for rehearsals and the actual performance and the rest of the time keep to themselves amidst the throngs of their respective sycophantic mobs.
