I think they will find him innocent, but will give him some form of punishment for giving minors booze.
(I hope they find he guilty and put him away for a long time- But I cant see them do)

I hope he is guilty, but he won't be put in prison. Thats a certain death sentence for a person like him.

not guilty
Verdict is in, and you were right.
Not guilty = you can diddle as many kids as you want as long as you have over $20,000,000.
Pathetic.
not guilty
i didn´t know that the OJ jury was back in business ~D

Here's a thought .Maybe the reason they found him not guilty ,is because he's innocent . :dizzy2:
Guilty of being a lonely old nutter maybe .But that wasn't why he was on trial .

Looks like I'm going to have to take this sum' bitch out :duel: God that is so weak, and it's not his money, it's his celebrity status, he is ~200,000,000 in debt. He has lost most if not all of his rights to his nether land ranch. Still, god I wish he would get raped and die.... that would make my day... in spite of my obvious hatred of him, is there anyone here that supports the jourers decision? Would be interesting to hear. I will plead ignorant on the case details, but if someone is accused more than once by seperate people of molestation, I assume they are guilty.

Perhaps. But from everything I have seen of this trial it was due once again to ineptness on the part of California prosecutors.
It seems to me that the prosecution proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that Michael Jackson is a pedophile with a long history of molesting children.
Unfortunately, they did not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he molested the particular child that they charged him with molesting in this case. Sadly, I have to say that the jury made the correct decision based on the evidence.

there was zero credible evidence against Jackson in this trial
to me this verdict shows that if you try to convict a man based on the illegitimate tesitmony of a flaky loon, compulsive liar of a notorious con artist, then you will get a "Not Guilty" verdict. that is exactly as it should be
Jackson is of course guilty of doing freaky things with kids.
they should have made a case based on credibile evidence in order to prove it. they did not, so they lost. it's the State's own fault for being stupid about it.

That about somes it up. I have little doubt in my mind that Jackson is a sick twist and has in all liklihood done some disgusting things to children... but , the prosecution did a terrible job of making its case and therefore lost- similar to the OJ case as someone mentioned.
Amazing that some still think he is guilty and deserves punishment even though he has been found not guilty.
Found not guilty in a place not that known for it, inspite of a media all over him stating guilty, guilty, guilty and a majority of public opinion against him.
I am no big fan of Jackson, but I try and respect verdicts from fair, just and clearly legit courts. It is a shame others here don't, a real shame and it shows on your character a lot that you can't accept a clear verdict because it doesn't fit in with your assumptions of someone.
Anyway, as I said all a long, I didn't really care about the result, I just think he deserved a fair trial like everyone else is. Shame people who are sure he is guilty now seemingly didn't think a fair trial was good enough.
Yeah, we have no right to our opinions. How dare we disagree with the outcome of a trial. We have no right to weigh the evidence that we have and form our own opinions.... shame on us. :dizzy2:

Or he is guilty, but hte prosecution failed to prove their case. From my very limited following of the case, the prosecution didn't have what I would classify as a strong case.

It is not a white/black divide in Western Society it is a rich/poor divide. More wealth allows access to a bigger range of lawyers and investigators. So a rich person can through their teams disprove the prosecutors case far more proficiently then a poor person can.
In short money talks and bullsh!t walks.
I dont deny that has something to do with it- but Scott Petersen had a hotshot lawyer and still got convicted on what I thought was a fairly weak case on the part of the prosecution.

While you have a point, I don't see what else can be done Papewaio. People will allways pay higher for better lawyers, so the better lawyers will allways go to those who can afford them. Unless you put in a standard wage for lawyers (which will just reward mediocrity), it will allways be the way.

~D JAG everyone is entitled to their opinions and I'm sure everyone will admit that juries don't always get it right, so speculation was inevitable.

Lol, very good, didn't you say something along the lines of you would never need to change your opinions because you're never wrong?
Anyway, I think he was lucky he got off with all the charges I would have thought he'd get done with the alcohol ones at least. If he had been done with molestation I would have liked to have seen the mother done for neglect.
Edit:
Wonder why they never found him guilty of abduction by hot air balloon ~;)

He's also a celebrity, although not a very loved one. They almost always walk.
Trial by jury does have its disadvantages.

Just thought of another thing.
The wife told me of a UK student who had spent £10k of his student loans/grants so that he could be at the court and support Mick.
While I don't have any links to prove this I thik that if it's true this idiot should at least be forceably evicted from college and forced to pay back all the money if not charged with fraud.
Anyone else heard of this?
For my part, it was the freaky freaks holding vigil outside the courtroom that weirded me out. Them's is a strange slice of humanity.
One potato flew in from Germany just to dress up like Jackson and stand outside. :dizzy2:
And now of course, the jury, the prosecution and perhaps Wacko Jacko himself, will settle down and write books for huge advances.
I wonder if Jackson got to the jury...

Even if he is truly innocent I think we can all agree he needs to be institutionalized. He has serious issues that stem from an extremely repressed childhood. His money and fame only compound his internal struggle.
He has been found Not Guilty.

My favourite headline throughout this media circus has to be when Jackson turned up to court in what appeared to be pajammas....
Bannana in Pajammas!
:)
A moment of genious for whoever came up with that. As a whole though, the entire affair has reduced my faith in Humanity. :(
I would have thought my faith in Humanity could not go any further down, as it was already reaching subterranean depths. I was wrong.
