How do I become a member? I have about 200 posts and am a junior member.

It is not based on post numbers m8 I am not too sure on how you become a full member maybe someone like CBR or a moderator around these parts can fill you in on the details. But I am almost 100% certain it is not based on post numbers because go ahead and compare our post counts ;)

which states that

Promotion to Member is based on participation, conduct and contributions in your posts. Quantity of posts doesn't matter - you could be promoted on the basis of one amazing post, although just showing the ability to interact with the membership in a helpful and polite manner is easily sufficient. In other words, you don't need to do something special, just enjoy yourself whilst following the Forum Rules above. Although introducing yourself (if you have not already done so) in the HAIL New Members! (Introductions) II thread doesn't hurt.

Promotions are handled manually by the Guild Staff, and are generally done en masse. So as a very quick rule of thumb: if you've been here for a few weeks and been posting reasonably regularly during that time, you should be promoted to Member.

In any case, the staff will always try to help you if they can. If you feel perhaps that you've been mistakenly overlooked (as does happen on occasion), your best bet is to PM KukriKhan and explain your situation.

Although you've got a lot of posts you've only been here less than two weeks - promotions may not have been looked at in that period.

When I joined last November it tyook a month and about 120 posts. Since it is done manually you may not have been noticed specifically by a moderator, I wasn't for a while, but don't worry it will probably come quite soon.

It took about 5 months to me, but that only because in four months i posted nothing at all... then it was rather quick, about 15 posts were enough

I was part of a mass membership admittance by Tosa, I think there were over a hundred people memberized then.

Yep i sure did. Had 370 something. My first posts in that month were mainly just coment and sujestions but then I actually started a few threads helped out on the guids page and did usfull stuff. It s true its quality not quantity. I remeber i tired so hard i once posted 60 posts in one day. :no: terible I know. My poustcount has now however droped from 60 in my high days to an adiquate 10.4.~:)
