I'm in desperation for help, please help!

I don't get it, every time i go on provincial campaign i pick a country (i pick Roman house of julii) click on the arrow but then the whole programme closes down please somebody help :help: :help: :help:

ok this is a common problem , I had it too , this is how you solve it :

go to your total war directory and choose data ( C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War\Data )

go to : world-------> maps ------> campaign------> RTR ---->now delete the file tyhat says map.rwm.
that should do the trick.

If that doesn't solve the problem, (which it doesn't always) do you know about the -show_err switch?
