Do you believe in astrology. That planets influence your life or at least are signals about your future and personality?

Although I never used to give that stuff a moment's notice, I am forced to admit that I am the spitting image of a Piscean male. It's creepy how accurate the character traits of my birth sign are, in relation to my personality...

Beyond that... well my understanding of the occult lies in other areas, so I'll plead ignorance.

I have to say no, but my stepmom has this book on birthdays, and I lloked at mine and it was eerily accurate. It was pretty accurate for a few other people too. Really weird. I still vote no though.

Apparently there is some truth to some of the star-signs, or at least, people born at certain times of the year when considered as part of a large enough sample exhibit certain personality traits.

Apparently those born at a time so that their first months (Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer) are in Summer are proven to be more optimistic and upbeat than those born at other times of the year. There is also a notable increase in the average income of a Gemini compared to a Scorpio.

Having said that. Astrology is a load of sillyness.

To me it is like a form of racism: select people in boxes, label them and link properties. That's easy. You do not have to learn that single individuum.

Exactly. I don't believe in astrology or any of that stuff, which is probably typical of Capricorns.

I don't believe in astology, never really have. But the more I read about Virgo's, the more I find myself relating to it.

Also Chinese years, I am a horse and I relate to the descriptions of that as well.

I do believe that it's a factor, merely a factor, effecting the phisionomical structure of the person as I have seen it proven in my own characteristics (both as a gemini and a fire dragon) and others', but not any further.

No, they said I would have a five star day today but I had more like a three or so. And also the Onion's predictions for last Sunday were untrue as well. Jupiter never came into my life and he\she\it never stammered, blushed and backed out.

Predictions of astrology is too general. The prediction of one sign can easily suited to every other. The astrologists foresee by chance. They used probability and generalization to make a true prediction.

Nevertheless sometimes signs could be fun! ~D
