The preview movie from E3 looks awesome. I liked RoN and thought it was an excellent game, well worth the high ratings. The funny thing is that I could never really get into the game the same way as with CIV or TW. I tended to play games until the modern era then quit (RTS combat in the modern era does not appeal to me). Changing the locale and adding the science fiction/fantasy elements makes the game much more appealing to me. It looks like a game I'll be likely to buy the day it comes out. Lets not forget that Brian Reynolds was an important cog (if not THE important cog) in the best of firaxis's games including SMAC (my vote for the best strategy game).
