Eh, I hate to post this here, but I haven't gotten any replies in the apothecary since I posted 2 days ago. Anyway, I uninstalled RTW and after reinstalling, patch 1.2 doesn't seem to work. They tell me that the language I choose for the patch isn't the same as the one I chose for RTW (but it is). Now, I seem to remember reading of a a similar issue happening somewhere here. I tried a search of these forums, to no avail (somehow I get a PBEM thread as a result?). I also checked the stickies in apothecary, and as per their suggestion went into the registry and manually changed RTW's version to 1.0 (it was already at 1.0 anyway) so that's not the issue.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated, I'd like to get this fixed ASAP; I'm eager to try out the new Dathmod.

Did you try the zip version of the v1.2 patch?

I'm sorry, I'm a bit confused as to what you mean. Yes, I did re-download the patch and try to reinstall it from there, but to no avail.

There are two versions there an exe and a zip. Use Winzip to unzip the zip file to your main RTW folder. It doesn't do any checking of the current installation or the registry.
