Well the title pretty much says it all. Personally Id like to see a metalmen movie or Thor. Also it would be nice to see a new Captain America. Im amazed no one has come up with a new TV series seeing as how popular they once were and how well the movies do. Yes I know we have Smallville and other superman shows but something different would be nice.

I'd like to see Captain America. And possibly Green Lantern (Hal Jordan, though).

Captain America would be rather controversial, I feel.

I'd like an X-men film with Gambit in! He was the best X-man, and he hasn't featured at all. It's a traversty.

Ironman would be cool too, as would be a film version of The Dark Knight Returns. Although we probably have enough Batmen films.

Well, if they keep going the way they have, none. I hear Kevin Smith's Green Arrow won't be bad, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

I'd see a Captain America movie, but only if he fought the Nazi bad guys of old.

If the movie was done well, I'd pay to see Lobo drink beer and kick ass.

The Bash Street Kids...awesome ~

Failing that the Fantastic Four would be good, imo it should have been made before the X-men..

'FLAME ON' ~

EDIT: I just read that the film is out in four weeks, man those hollywood bods sure know how to satiate the public, I only posted the request about 1/2 hour ago. OK I go for the SilverSurfer....from the original, when he was the herald for Galactacus

Actually Iron man is in pre production.

A decent Superman would be good but I think I would prefer more but I would love a decent Batman Begins sequel

Ironman or Thor they both kick ass. Is the Punisher film worth watching, i never botherd with it because there was not much publicity about it?

No worries; it sucks. They pegged the Punisher out to be more like an anxious teenager character than anything else.

I think they are already doing/filming the Green Latern and Ironman. There will be a new Superman movie too.

Movies don't really use more powerful Marvel entities such as Galactus or the Sentinels.

The Silver Surfer would be nice too. :charge:

Asterix!!!! Oh, wait, they already did that one. Twice. ~D

Now I was thinking of a Justice League of Amerrica movie but this might be even better

There could be endless sequals.

Also didnt Marvel have a group of Heroes banded together like this?

GoreBag
06-26-2005, 00:37
You mean the X-Men? Within the X-Men series, there were tons of bands of heroes.

No not the X-men or the Metalmen.

Look here (http://home.earthlink.net/~lkless/comics.html)

I had every comic pictured there

These are the ones Im speaking about

Theres Thor, Ironman, Antman and Capt America for starts. There maybe more I cant remember at the moment.

Now that would be a great movie. 4 super heroes can each get the attention they deserve. Like the FF.

Some facts

More traditional - and more far-reaching - was the decision taken by Lee and Kirby that same year to unite many of their most famous characters [Thor, Hulk, Iron Man, Ant Man and the Wasp] under the banner of The Avengers, a superhero team whose line-up would change on a regular basis - indeed when internal continuity started to get muddled because of events in the characters' own titles, Lee ditched the lot and created a whole new set of characters, though the superstars would turn up from time to time.

The idea of a team of heroes appealed to Lee and he hatched an idea that was to prove incredibly flexible and long-lived - the idea of mutant superheroes, possessed of incredible physical and mental powers, who would fight for Mankind even though they were despised and ostracised. The X-Men went virtually unnoticed at the time, but in the hands of subsequent writers and artists, grew to become one of Marvel's most profitable franchises.

Amid this frenzy of creativity, Kirby took the opportunity to revive his Captain America, his frozen body resuscitated in the modern day by The Avengers in Avengers 4 -the "Captain America" that had appeared in Strange Tales two months before had ultimately been revealed as an impostor.

I fear JSA/JLA movies would suffer from a lack of character development. Taking X-men as a case in point, there were about 4 developed characters. Wolverine, Rogue, Magneto and Xavier. Everyone else took a secondary role (even the 'leader' cyclops). Then in X2 you had Jean, Wolverine, Mystique and the general guy further developed. While i did feel it was all a bit rushed (then again, it'd have to be series of movies in order to develop everything correctly), i feel that this was possible with X-men.

With the JSA/JLA, all of the characters are huge. Most with intricate backstories, seperate villians, allies etc. Much like 'Watchmen', i'd never see it working as a film. Then again, Watchmen has the go ahead, so JLA might happen someday...

Not strictly a comic-book, but I think it's high time for a new Transformers film.

Cygnus X-1

In the pipeline.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0418279/

Unfortunatley, it's live action and i believe it's set on Earth. As the armarda series has proved, Earth setting sucks...

And there'll be an important human cast. Leave the humans out of it!

GoreBag

I have no faith in there being any decent content to any kind of Transformers film, television included. It's all crap now.

This suddenly reminds me of the terrible job that will be done to Doom. The Rock is not Doom material. Arrrgh.

i would like to see spiderman. oh wait he's filmed already. than the Hulk. oh my pc said he's gone too. than i would like to see... RED EARS

I doubt they will put five big names in one movie: Superman, Batman, Wonderwoman, The Flash, Green Lantern. Five separate movies of course.

The Avengers as well. That's Thor, Iron Man, Captain America.

Do they really need to make a Transformers movie? With humans nonetheless....

Theres more in both groups though those are the main ones. This however is what would make these movies so great. Best thing would be to make individual movies first and then make the team ones so everyone knows who they are.

If they did that, i'd love to see it. That's what they're thinking of doing for the 'Batman Vs Superman' script; to use the same actors from the new movies.

The amazing thing was it was all pen and ink and rapidograph...compare and contrast with today.

In those days 'cut and paste' meant some sharp scissors and a pot of Gloy (tm)

Being a big Niel Gaiman fan,I'd say keep your paws off Sandman, the only bloke I'd consider would be Tim Burton, with a huge budget and then I'd probably have a coronary at the interpretation.
Until Sin City,I'd have said the same for Preacher(One sick puppy of graphic novel series)
Nope the only one of my faves I'd trust Hollywood with is Transmetropolitan, that comic captures how ****ed up city life will become and Spider Jerusalem(A rogue butt kicking journalist) has the best line in insults ever, none of which are repeatable here

A decent version of Helllblazer would be nice - one actually set in London and with a decent British actor rather than that Americanised Constantine shite :furious3:

A film of Marshal Law would rock, as would The Authority.
