Lewes is twinned with Blois in France, Waldshut Tiengen in Germany, and Lewes in the USA.

Every year my town has sports competitions and 'cultural exchanges' with Blois and Waldshut, and I believe they both always send a contingent to the bonfire night parades here.

Give our unloved and un-twinned backwater villages that no-one else in the world cares about, a chance to associate with new and exotic places! Stop stealing them all for yourself.
