Does anyone else besides me do daytime naps?
I love them personally but don't always have time for them.
Because there is more noise and light you tend to not be in a deep sleep so your dreams are more lucid and memorable. Geverally they are far mroe satisfying.
If you haven't tried it I recommend grab a pillow right now and get to it. ~

I think they would be nice, but I usually can't pull em off. Only time I can sleep during the day is while deer hunting.

I HATE SLEEP!
Besides that I also don't have time for any naps because I work 8.5 hours a day now and have a 50 minute walk home. So no I don't, and even if I could I wouldn't!

Daytime naps are not really sleep. They are just light sleep.
I hate real sleep, the one that's suposed to be done in the night. I usually sleep like 6 hours. Sometimes I don't sleep at all, the brain is so damn hyperactive.
I like to catch up during the day though.

I take naps in the afternoon after I finished my chores and stuff, then I go online, then my day really begins ~D
I almost had a daytime nap today at work. Safety manuals...
Seriously, though, I hate napping. It actually makes me angry.

I am a very lazy person and like to sleep well over 12 hours ( in vacations mind you ) but I never do a day time nap, I sleep far to much for that !
:balloon2:
Mmmmmm naps are GOOD !!
The best sort are after a lazy pub lunch in those pesky hours around 4pm before you go back out.

I cannot nap. I get confused when I wake up, and the slightest noise will make me filch.

I normally try to sneak an hour or so in 'bout 5 or 6ish. It takes a lot longer to get my head together when I wake up than it does when I wake up in the morning though. I normally just stare blankly at a wall for 15 minutes or so.

Only during school.
Only during school.
Heh, yes, a substitute once accused me for sleeping with my eyes wide open ~D
I can`t understand how people manage too sleep at the middle of the day, I barely manage too sleep at night :dizzy2:

I rarely nap, usually only to combat a hangover as a last resort (i.e. I've got more social hours coming up and it's Saturday afternoon).
No matter how tired I am, if I nap, I can't get to sleep that night.

Sometimes I have no choice in the matter-If I haven't had too much sleep, I'll generally fall asleep during my after-college reading session. Happened just now, actually.

Yep me too--I sleep when I'm tired, eat when I'm hungry etc. Occasionally if I'm "awake" but feeling like I need rest, I force myself to sleep--go through a few mind-quietting exercises to bring the hyperactive mind under control etc. I've found that learning how to take control of the willy-nilly nature of the brain really helps to focus when you need to, and to defocus and just "be" when you need to, etc.
I don't take daytime naps as often nowadays because they tend to mess up my nighttime sleep cycle. But if I'm especially exhausted I will; usually only for an hour or two though.

Me too, I avoid sleeping at daytime, except when I´m ill. I am usually confused for the rest of the day after sleeping, that doesn´t apply for my usual sleep at night though. ~;)

Day time naps... bah!
I have productive sleep. I am never awake.
I sleep for about thirty minutes after work. Though sometimes it feels like I’m sleeping for seven hours while at work.

I never nap when sick. I say I do because otherwise my parents go nuts, but basically I putter around the house. Check the forum 8 times or so and sit at my computer. Oh yeah, and try to do school work, though once when I did that all I remembered was the History Channel special on Caligula, gotta love the little boots...

Gah! The power of suggestion ... I felt especially weary this afternoon and fell asleep at 5:30pm ... to wake at 9pm! Now my clock is messed up. Drat! Time for a heavy workout and then a hot shower, some warm milk, and a banana or two ...hopefully that will allow me to get some sleep tonight ... :embarassed:.

I TOOK A NAP AT WORK TODAY!
It was horrible. I slept from 12:20ish until 1:00ish, my supervisor took an extra long lunch so I didn't have anything to do. It felt horrible, cause it was hot and my shirt stuck to my back due to the chair I was sitting in. And I panicked that I missed some of work.

No, I felt horrible. My back was all sweaty from the heat so my shirt was sticking to it and I was not refreshed at all.
