I'm not a big fan of liberal reporters with an agenda, and I think the NY Times isn't fit to line a birdcage. But I really, really think the ruling on this sucks. Reporters have to be free to protect their sources if we are to have a free press. Not being able to document the sources should count significantly against the crediblity of the story, but a reporter's notes should not be able to be subpoenaed by a prosecutor or a judge. I think this is a terrible blow to freedom of the press. Anyone have any thoughts?

Don't speak to the press (http://www.nytimes.com/2005/06/30/politics/30leak.html?ei=5065&en=af889a6c760bc524&ex=1120708800&partner=MYWAY&pagewanted=print)

Right , this is the story about someone in the Administration blowing the cover of a CIA operative for not following the party line on the WMD lies .

And one of the journalists involved in this court case has never actually published any story relating to the episode . :dizzy2:

Yes , I think Adrian finished his little bit of research on internet forums and is now preparing his article for publication . ~
Though his work in the Monastary was a very welcome contribution while he was here . ~

He was just researching, not here for his own amusement. That's a shame. Adieu, mon ami'. I figure nothing will irritate a Dutch guy out of hiding like some French thrown at him. :)

Actually I don't think that he is gone for good ... the last time he logged in was only a week ago.

He's probably/hopefully only taking a summer-break ~
