Whenever i import a screenshot i have taken (using print screen) into photoshop i just get a completely black, blank image. Do i need to change anything to make them show up or alter the settings in any way?

How do you import them? And is your photoshop set up to view tgas? (test with other tgas from the r:tw folders)

I just use file/open to get them in to photoshop. The other tgas (custom/historic battle menu images) open fine, so it seems that my PSP 8 can handle tgas ok. This is however the first time i have really used photoshop so i could be doing something pretty basic wrong.......

PRT SCRN
ALT + ESC to leave the game
Open Photoshop
CTRL+V

superb, that did the trick. Working fine now. Thankyou.
Another advice:
Go into options and change the screenshot button to F6, then turn off anti-aliasing.
Then you`ll find all your screenshots in the tga folder and you don`t have too leave the game for each screenshot you take ~

And more:
Use the "-ne" switch and have both the game and Photoshop open at the same time ;)

real added value here!
Go into options and change the screenshot button to F6, then turn off anti-aliasing.

Ive just tried this and all the screenshots in the tga folder are black when i try to open them from photoshop later.......like before.
Use the "-ne" switch and have both the game and Photoshop open at the same time
That really saves time. No more little red loading bar. Woo hoo! ~D
I was a bit surprised it worked as i was already using the -enable_editor switch. Cheers mate.

I think you can have as many command switches on at once as you like. I personally use -ne -nm -show_err with separate shortcuts for -enable_editor, -sprite_script and -mod:my_mod
.

Good to know. -show_err has just been plopped on the end of mine as well. Still seems to load ok. Thanks.

Cool modders use show_err ~;)
Oh, and don't forget, you can close the game quickly with ALT+F4 if you need to reload (after changing an export file or something) quickly. Show_err still works when using this quicker method to close.
