What is with these shots, is that how the original Medieval looked? Cuz ive only ever run it with Viking Invasion. Also, it looks from that like there are seperate traders for the different commodities. Anyone know?

This was the old version of Medieval Total War...

It was never released... But at some parts, it looks cooler this way....

It's MTW in development. Nothing more.

2000 florins was enough to support 50 men at arms for a year or something, also merchants before the rennaissance tended to specialise rather than act like coorporations with many dealings with many goods

I've been away from MTW for so long that I've forgotten what the keypress is for the screenshots!

I've been merrily pressing the F8 key on my battle results screen but never thought to look for the screendumps until today and there's nothing there :furious3:

I could have sworn it was there in the game manual but, on looking again I couldn't find it, so I guess it must have been the forum where I picked up this tip (I've been away from here for months, by the way).

I'm off to read the FAQ now :book: but if someone could save me some time by replying here, I'd be very grateful.

Edit. Just seached the FAQ and it found nothing when I searched the word 'screenshot'.... :embarassed:

Many thanks, bretwalda.

I can logoff now and do my next game session! ~

Just to put my mind at rest, whereabouts was this documented?

Was it in the game 'Read me' file - all the stuff they added after the manual went to print, or is it in there after all and just well hidden? It's certainly not in the appendix where various interface keypresses are listed.

No problemo. I am not sure where I read it but probably on this site somewhere. What I have never found and I had to be told is that how you speak to others in multiplayer: that is pressing T to talk to all and Y to talk to you allies.
