Well im sitting here at 4am and looking at the threads in the backroom. I must say Ive never seen anything like this here before.
The first thread Jesus or Aliens?
The third thread The Ultimate Poll! .....Should creationism ie relgion be taught in school
4th thread Aleins More of them and some believe the gods were aliens
5th thread What is a Jew Are we seeing a pattern here yet?
6th thread Religion: Concept itself good or bad?
7th thread The founding fathers on God.
8th thread Maybe there is a God after all
9th thread 6 days or 5 billion years ? again creationism vs science
11th thread Christians Who Mix Church and State Hate Christianty
13th thread US constitution , $$$$ and God
So between 8 and 10 of the first 13 threads are about god or religion. ~:grouphug:

Wow...
Looks like politics are set aside and religion is the new craze in the Backroom....
But anyways, it's interesting....

Unfourtunatly religion always gets dragged into that debate also.

Unfortunately, true....
Gay and lesbian marriage is one of the topics that I hate most....

Its extremely dull. Religion must be the subject par excellence where not only will no one change their mind, but no one will say anything new and no one will even acknowledge that anyone else may have a valid viewpoint.
IMHO the backroom is pretty boring right now
lately, it's been pretty much the same things being discussed here as always
just that they have now been packaged in a more blunt way

Me too. I hope we start arguing about Shark Vs Bear (who would win) or something else soon.

Agreed. I have hardly been posting lately because all the threads are so damn boring. God this and comparison that. Yuck.

i fail to understand why so many of you are suddenly saying Backroom is boring. Backroom has always been almost exclusively about discussing all the stuff listed in the threads outlined in the original post
is the boredom because those threads do not adhere to the usual custom of copying and pasting a long-winded hot air article in the original post?
the way i see it, that makes those threads more fun than usual. i find copying and pasting long-winded articles to be extremely boring.
the new trend simply "trimming the fat". getting rid of the silly bunk and presenting only the main idea in the words of the original poster
forums should be about discussing the patrons' thoughts. not eternal copying and pasting someone else's.

Ever hear the song your so vain? ~D Yeah Yeah we all know that not what you meant. Right gah. When I said
God this is boring
I was reffering to those who were saying the topic of god was boring. It was meant to be humourus.

I also noticed that's it very hard to catch up if you don't read the backroom for a day, let alone two or three, and most threads aren't worth the effort.
I think I had too much backroom in the last few weeks, i'm taking it easier now ~D
