I've finished all the other historical campaigns(except for Barberossa and Genghis Khan) but I don't know how to beat the Siege of Orleans, I almost had it once by sending my Knights on suicide missions against the ballistas... but one rallied and I lost.

Anyone have any ideas? And where did the English get that many knights..?

I was able to beat this scenario by quickly destroying the far right (from the defenders perspective) ballista with a couple knight units, then reforming at the castle gate with all but the general's unit.

While the troops holding the front gate fight a losing battle that essentially distracts the enemy, I sent the gen around behind the castle and then picked up the remaining three ballistas in a clockwise manner.

U have to take theballistas out before the knights arrive. I ve done it twice, using the same manoevre:
Select the general, double-klick the upper right ballista-not the ballista crew, only the ballista- and then double-klick the lower right.
Select your haldbergies and perform a fake attack towards the upper center of the screen, this should gather the english guarding the left zone there.
Select your second group of royar knights and after the road is open, attack the upper left ballista. The lower left is guarded by longbowmen or paysants.

That's what I thought, pretty much a suicide mission.

I actually destroyed the whole english army one time until two units of the 100 strong chivalric knights showed up.

ciside mission yes, but not for your knights. You need to create a diversion to the center of the english formation, in order to create a corridor for your knights to attack the ballistas, while holding the defence to the castle gate.
