The American Communist Party and other far left groups here in America are very funny sometimes with their rhetoric, and always strange. ~

~ Just like the Republican party as well! ahaah!

...

Different opinions than your own does not mean strange, merely different. I am sure they speak complete sense and you cannot comprehend what they are stating and thus think they are strange.

I honestly don't know.

I think that they are trying to make a point about politicians.
I also think that maybe they aren't, maybe they just like proposing odd policies (that sometimes make sense) and putting up local eccentrics as candidates.

ELF (The Earth Liberation Front). Bascially, everything man does is bad. We should all return to a cro-magnon like state, and forgo domiciles, technology and agriculture. Whatever portion of the population that cannot be sustained from simple hunting-gathering should be wiped out, and our human population should be like 1% of what it currently is.

For the time being, they focus on causing economic damage (with some minor injuries reported here and there) by firebombing ski resorts, new home & condo construction, car sales lots and agricultural chemical warehouses.

I find that the Tory party must be the most strange and funny one. They don't want to seem old-fashioned and victorian, but Lord Saatchi said that they shall go for a Disraeli-type campaign next election. The 1922 convention also hardly helps... They are made up of the most bizarre collection of people -- William Hague, Ian Duncan Smith, Boris and Stanley Johnson (son and father), Baroness Thatcher, the Tory Frontbench...

Liberalism is equally odd... It says that it promotes equality, and freedom, but restricts what opinions one can hold, and prevents freedom of thought.

the libertarian nazi green party (http://www.nazi.org/nazi/policy/) is pretty.. funny? :blank2:

the wiccan pansexual peace party (http://members.tripod.com/Hail_Eris/eris/PPPP/platform/ppp03_0.htm) is also a queer one, so to speak. ~;) as a bonus, their website is hosted by tripod.. and is extra professional looking. :2thumbsup:

You know, you can delete your history... but I think that it is possible that it stays in there permanetly, and can be somehow accessed.

You can clear your history and cache, and there will be no record on your machine of your history. However, the web server may log your IP address, which impacts you in no way that I can see.

If you really, really want to visit a web site and leave absolutely no trace, you'll have to use a service like this. (http://www.the-cloak.com/login.html) Using a proxy, you log into one server, and it logs into the naughty site you wish to visit. No record at the naughty site of anything but the proxy server. You can even chain proxies together to confuse your trail. Ultimately, of course, somebody with a subpoena and a lot of time can track you down, but proxies allow privacy from everyone except a grand jury.

The problem with funny political movements is that sooner or later they get scary........

I think in the context of this thread, posting the link is OK.

You clearly labeled the link, so that anybody who is going to click it should know what to expect (and has the choice not to click it if he has concerns about getting trouble at school/work etc.)

Also, given the context, nobody should interpret this link as promotion of Nazi ideology or racism as obviously everybody is posting links to organisations/parties he or she considers to be rather weird.

How can you justify the millions of dollars of property damage caused by the Animal Liberation Front (ALF)?”

Throughout history, some people have felt the need to break the law to fight injustice. The Underground Railroad and the French Resistance are examples of movements in which people broke the law in order to answer to a higher morality. The ALF, which is simply the name adopted by people who act illegally in behalf of animal rights, breaks inanimate objects such as stereotaxic devices and decapitators in order to save lives. ALF members burn empty buildings in which animals are tortured and killed. ALF “raids” have given us proof of horrific cruelty that would not have otherwise been discovered or believed and have resulted in criminal charges’ being filed against laboratories for violations of the Animal Welfare Act. Often, ALF raids have been followed by widespread scientific condemnation of the practices occurring in the targeted labs, and some abusive laboratories have been permanently shut down as a result.

Some animal rights people in the U.K. have been known to get wacko and violent.

Steppe Merc

Groups of all sorts can get wacko and violent, not just animal lovers.
