edit==THIS WORKS
This works for Historical Battles AND for Historical Campaigns

i would try MAKING a folder called Movies in the main Medieval folder and drop a movie file in that

(Medieval is built on shogun's engine after all, and thats where they were for Shogun)

content of Shogun/batinit/Historical Campaigns/Oda Nobunaga Okehazama.bdf file

IntroFMV::"intro_nob.mpg"
IntroSubtitles::"Nobunaga Historical Campaign Intro"
MapName::"okehazama (nobunaga)"
BattleType::BATTLE_TYPE_HISTORICAL
Deployement::false
Season::summer
WeatherSequenceId::48

Player::"Oda Nobunaga_xzy" 3 3 LOCAL "Oda" 0 false 11414 20960 90
Player::"Imagawa Yoshimoto_xzy" 4 4 ARTIFICIAL "Imagawa Yoshimoto" 0 true 21077 16302 0

TerminatingTrigger::"BATTLE_PLAYER_WON" 1 3
TerminatingTrigger::"BATTLE_PLAYER_KILL_ENEMY_GENERAL" 1 4 3
TerminatingTrigger::"BATTLE_PLAYER_LOST" 2 3
TerminatingTrigger::"BATTLE_PLAYER_KILL_ENEMY_GENERAL" 2 3 3
TerminatingTrigger::"BATTLE_PLAYER_ROUT_ENEMY_GENERAL" 4 4 3

TerminatingTriggerGroup::1 2 LOST ATTACKER "Mount Hiei"
TerminatingTriggerGroup::2 1 WON ATTACKER "Okehazama"
TerminatingTriggerGroup::3 1 WON ATTACKER "Okehazama"
TerminatingTriggerGroup::4 1 WON ATTACKER "Okehazama"

This works for Historical Battles AND for Historical Campaigns

example::
added movies folder
copied intro_nob.mpg into it
edited marsuf battle in saldin campaign
hit fight battle and you go to the movie,
hit space bar to continue to battle
:-))

I wonder what software is the best to convert .avi files into .mpg. I don't have much experience with this stuff, so I hope someone will answer this question.

OK. I found something Magic Video Batch Converter and it works well (it also converts DVD, wmv files etc).

With 15 days free trial it is very useful.

If you have more programs like this to add please post your information there could be better ones somewhere.:book:
