Should'nt the A.I.'s build policy change with every new faction leader. It would at least reduce the amount of rabble on the battlefield. Or it would put an end to the fleet production of Thrace(prior 1.2) with over 100 ships.
With the A.I. set at 1 build policy from the beginning, theres no variables so if the A.I. has mao se ????, it will have high amounts of militias to the end.

Indeed. It would be nice if different generals had different personalities regarding preferred militiary style and tactics, as well as foreign and diplomatic policies - with its current situation taken into consideration. If for example you continuously killed the leaders of a faction and its people, the next leader of the faction could hate you so much as to put all their attentions towards ending your life. Or some nonsense like that.
Can't see it happening in a TW game near you soon.
I'd like to have more control over building priorities from the strategy file regardless if it changes over time or not. I don't particularly like any of the current options presented.

And I'd like a woman with big breasts and all her own teeth, but what has any of that got to do with changing AI build priorities over time?
I like the idea of each general having independant AI. It might cause them to do different things. The only thing that might be a problem is that it would need a lot more CPU time to calculate its next move. With lots of generals on the map it would take a long time for anything to happen. The AI would be much better but the game a lot slower. Maybe this can be done in later TWs though.

It would be nice if different generals had different...foreign and diplomatic policies
That would be good - once in a while a faction could get a really militaristic leader, who inspires his men to carve out massive empires, improving the soldiers stats. For example, the Julii could get a Julius Caesar.
While I think it would be neat to have an AI faction change from one faction leader to the next, I also think that taking that down to a general level would only compond the issue/complaint that people have with the current AI offering peace and attacking both in the same turn. As is I think first CA needs to better unify a factions military/economic/diplomatic moves into a unified strategy before putting nifty change-ups into it.
