Custom Battle

Any one got an idea on how enable and be able to select & use the Warrior monks for battle action in the custom battle section, when fighting the mongols.
I have the warlord edition if that helps

Sorry that no-one got back to you sooner on this Agentzip.

Short answer is that it can't be done! Monks are a part of the Sengoku armylist and not the Mongol army lists and therefore can't be selected.

The only way anyone has ever been able to get it to work is online and even then it is sporadic and subject to other problems.

Obake, you mean online we can have wm vs mongol? I seldom play mongol period, so that will be interesting.

It's a bug Tootee! And it's a random one at that. From my understanding the host sets up a Sengoku battle, then changes it and quickly re-hosts the same battle under Mongol. On occasion this will allow players to use Mongol v. Sengoku troopsets.

I know that this can happen although I've never taken part in one myself.

Well, the other way would be to mod one of the "allowed" Mongol-era Jap units to be Warrior Monks, through Troopstats.txt.

But this of course would be purely for kicks.
