Shouldn't Junior Members be able to edit their posts? their the ones who are most likely to make a mistake, right? wouldn't it cut down on double posts?

also, why not make it so they can only post in the entrance hall? wouldn't this make the moderators job easier?

just my 2cents

I agree that they should be able to edit their posts, but not that they should only be allowed too post in the Entrance Hall. Sometimes their inputs in, say, the Colosseum is usefull. You`re being pretty unfair here.

I believe JMs only could post in the EH before, but they removed it.

I think the current system is fine. They're only Junior Members for a week or so and sometimes less.

I think the current system works well. It may be to stop JM's from posting something and then removing it a little later. Even though I was a JM for at least a month and had well over a hundred posts when I became a member I think the current system works very well and should be kept.

It is part of the system of verifying if someone is a troll.

It becomes very difficult to say 'No I didn't flame' when it is clearly written and unedited for all and sundry to see what was done.

It is annoying though not being able to edit, but it is far more annoying for everyone putting up with trolls.

Just be happy we are not currently running the junior and senior patron then member system.

The best way to gain quick promotion is to get involved with one of the Hosted Mod projects or to make a noteworthy contribution to a forum. I've recommended Junior Members for promotion after only a few days due to their contribution in the Ludus Magna forum.

On average, I would guess, promotion currently comes about 3-4 weeks after joining, assuming regular posting.
