Its a super-cheap source of natural protein. And according to SwordsMaster protein = good.

Unfortunately it can contain mercury and other nasty chemicals due to the prodouction methods.

Aaaaggghhhhh - the legions of the fish lovers are uniting :anxious:

They must be stopped :charge:

Seriously though, I was never fond of fish from an early age and being literally forced to eat it by my father, one of whose hobbies is fishing, didn't help one bit.

Someone eating seafood in a restaurant near me is enough to make me leave!

we agree again, m8! it's disgusting! I dilike very much fish. salmon is fine though.(only with the right preparation! ~;) )

clayton, you know I like you, but please don't ask seriously to close a thread. (unless in PM to a mod) remember why you got mad at beserker in the first place?

just trying to help... You are - how to say it - uncareful. you are enthousiast but sometimes say things wrong because you didn't really think about it. I have made that mistake so often too, but don't often anymore luckily. I hope you don't mind me saying this. take no offense please.

I am the anti-fish. I have come to cleanse the world of fish.

guess that is for 'taste-reasons'?

I am against too much fishing too, but that's because of the environnement. sorry for being so serious in a fun thread, but there are quite some species of fish that are nearly dissappeared from earth.(maybe you like that? ~D ) human kind is destroying such a beautiful place - Take Action! Greenpeace!

Yes.

I really want to rid the world of snails, slugs, jellyfish, octopi, etc.

Big_John
07-14-2005, 19:56
you've eaten jellyfish and slugs?

Marcellus
07-14-2005, 20:01
octopi

I'm sorry to be so pedantic, but octopi is not the correct plural of octopus (since octopus is a greek word, not latin). The accepted plurals are octopuses (English plural) and octopodes (the Greek plural).

Oh, and tuna's nice.

Tuna, Great in salads, sandwiches, pizzas and many other things. I actually like it with out mayonase. I hate Mayonase. The most disgusting thing ever made. I feel sick just thinking about mayonase.

Tuna's great, whether it be a steak (nice and rare of course), carpaccio, sashimi, tuna mayonnaise (especially good with dolphin bits).

It's a good source of many things, I believe - sometimes mercury if you're lucky!

But the spell checker said it was correct. :help:

But the spell checker said it was correct.

The spell checker's not very good...

There's a bit more information here (http://itre.cis.upenn.edu/~myl/languagelog/archives/000813.html).

Not that it really matters which plural you use. In fact, some dictionaries even list octopi as a correct plural, simply because it has been misused so many times.

Fresh blue tuna, a cube about 2" thick, BBQ or in the pan for seconds on each side, seared on the outside, raw in the middle. Salt and pepper, maybe a little spicy mayonaise on the side.

Oh yeah!
