Is MTW / VI over?

Well its been almost 24 hours now and you still cant play either of these games online. Has anyone heard from CA or GS on this matter? Is it temporary or are we finished here? If its over its a very sad day indeed.

Maybe you'll have to use a fake server like the forgotten ones (a.k.a as the STW:MI players) :dizzy2:

Im on the server now. One guy is hosting and others appears to be able to join.

Another very odd and disturbing thing is that if you click on the following name on the player list Ck Anubis -BOS-gs your chat gets messed up and you crash to desktop. CanCritter told me and I of course had to try it and I crashed to desk ~:confused:

edit: this is odd. I cant type in his whole name without making the rest of my post disappear??

That`s all the ppl who get MTW for 5$ in Wal-Mart.
Hehe,maybe we get a much greater Comunitay as we have ever had,
if we get them organized right.I wait for the moment ,if
MTW is avaible in a GAMEPACK or so ~;)

i don't know why they ever changed the english army in vi.. the gallows are a far superior sword when compared to the highlanders.... kerns still rock, but i like having alans, no heavy horse for me :)

The MTW and VI server are running fine since 15 July 2005.

The rebalancing of MTW multiplayer continued into VI. As a result, VI offers better multiplayer balance than MTW. One serious problem that remains is relatively weak spears which took a big hit in MTW v1.1 and was not readjusted in VI.

I checked the MTW/VI foyer Sunday night at 22:00 gmt and there were only 30 people there, and those 30 are divided between MTW and VI.

The other Clans are not active enough,they dont recruiting,dont training
new ppl,they do nothing.The fresh blood comes and goes.
Only WK,GO and DK are recruiting ,but that because they are new clans,
with fresh blood and higher motivation.
But all the other clans,the older ones,are thinking that the good old times
are over and that it isnt worth to recruite new ppl and training them.
Most of them searching a new game to switch over.
That`s why the game die slow,but it dies definitly. :furious3:

but yuuki, the gallows were nixed in favor of the highlanders by popular demand, where they not? and the longbows, in mtw do not do nearly the damage they did in vi, especially in melee? i think the spears getting nerfed ruined alot of the percieved balance, but i've also seen spears used to good/great effect, by folks who no longer wander the tw battlefields.
